This is great idea. I'm happy they thought of it. When I was young I got a puppy from a shelter, a little rottweiler and he had to be put to sleep after a few months because it ended up he had parvo and I guess there isn't much to be done about a pup with parvo.
Parvo=bad, which is why we came up with this program, to keep the puppies out of the shelter environment where the "P" is spread. it is heartbreaking to lose them to this virus, very few make it.

What a wonderful program. We have 2 pound puppies, that we brought with us to Australia when we moved back. They're now 10 years and 7 years old. They're family, we love 'em to death, and there is no way we'd leave them in a shelter hoping they'd go to a good home.

We just placed 6 and still have 9. We saved these cats/kittens and had them fixed thru grants so the population won't expand. We buy their food,litter ,flea supplies, not front line wasn't taking developed fleas capstar pills $5 each at vets.for dogs to, kills all fleas in 1st hr & continues up to 24 then use promeris behind neck does cats over 9lbs each month and treat lawn with bug killer,flea bomb the house!Check my site!

I got my shih tzu and my Scottie from a no-kill shelter when they were 6 yrs and 3 yrs. old and they are wonderful pets. The shih tzu had been tied outside for over a yr. and was a mess and the Scottie was abondoned, but after only a couple of days they were bonded to us. WE Love them both!
