THIS movie is PROOF that animated/Disney films aren't solely made for children, not when this movie can make full grown adults cry or be overcome with goose-bumps and chills.

Last I saw TLK in the cinema I was 3, right when it first came out in 1994 :) I will DEFINITELY go see it in theaters this month and enjoy this classic all over again as an adult. Heck, I'll even take my 16-year-old stuffed animal Simba cub with me to the theater so I can really get lost in the nostalgia! XD ^-^ <3

I am not at all excited for the 3D version. The only way I would buy the Blu-ray is if it had a regular 2D option. I also wonder if they are changing anything about the movie- like the song they added to the newer releases of Beauty and the Beast that totally changes the emotional content of the scenes when it plays.

This is the best animated film ever made, and possibly the best-scored movie too. I'm not even talking about the Elton John & Tim Rice songs, but the powerful and emotional music scored by Hans Zimmer that's played throughout the film. Without it, it would not be the same.
