You misunderstand the purpose of this library. It will house the documents of the Confederacy many of which were destroyed during Katrina when the estate of Jefferson Davis in Biloxi was destroyed. When bush visited Trent Lott's 'home' it was really to tour the damages to Beauvoir which is considered the White House of the Confederacy where Jefferson Davis retired and memoirs of the Confederacy were kept.
