Comparing his bowling to the Special Olympics on "The Tonight Show" Thursday, GUTTER BALL.
The Federal Reserve is dropping trillions of fresh paper dollars on the world economy, the President of the United States is cracking jokes on late night comedy shows. I am concerned about Obama's competence and the monumentally dysfunctional U.S. Congress launching another public jihad against corporations and bankers.
Well, if that's what the failed McCain campaign has been reduced to, then no wonder they are so far behind in the polls.
Obama did the right thing here and McDregulation, stabbed him in the back by not following through on his promise to hold a national joint press conference, as Obama had suggested.
Neither Obama nor McDeregulation sit on any financial Senate committee, so injecting Presidential politics into the situation actually made things worse.
Also, in regards to politicians, let's make it for the people, by the people again. If any of them deviate from it, then let's put their asses on the hot seat and fire them. This our place, our money. We stop them here.
Sure, we can bail out these companies if the US Tax Payers are treated as investors in this whole crisis, then I'm charging 21.9% interest and also, a 6.6% increase each time the government makes a late payment.
no, we've only had bush nightmare. let the man have a chance, then talk. or would you rather have a warmonger with an itchy trigger, ties to the failing financial institutions and his incompetent sidekick whose only job is looking pretty have a stab at it? you're not thinking.
Which lesser of 2 evils you want to choose from? Slow Death, or Fast Death? Either way they are both clowns serving corporate interests and not the people. The last 25 years have been the same, and no change is coming. Each politician, including the president, should be held accountable. If you look at the current crisis, both Dems, and Reps., are looking to bail this situation out. Don't you think it's too socialist for a capitalist nation ? Welcome to the National Socialist States of America
I think he handled that very well. He clearly wasn't trying to watch every word, with the "uhs" and the "ahs," wasn't on his stump speech, and wasn't on prompter. Reminds me of those halcyon days when grace and temperment under pressure didn't surprise you in a president?
The Democrats turned the talks over to Obama and Obama's incompetence as a leader derailed the talks yesterday. That is a fact and Reid concocted a flat out lie that McCain came to town and everything fell apart.
NEWS FLASH! Senate Bill 3604 was just shelved! What is S. 3604? It was another stimulus package to fund unemployment, food stamps, elderly aid, and more. Yep, the Republicans voted against it! Why? Because it didn't include an oil drilling ammendment! So, if you want to say that the GOP cares about the middle class, this is just one more example they DO NOT! Back to the GOP mantra! Big Oil/Big Business! Fuck the middle class! Obama/Biden - 2008
Don't be so hard on Obama. The future of his "personal journey" is on the line. Why should pause to concern himself with America's problems -- how would it help HIM?
