Gran Turismo 2: BTCC

Every time I had a new game on GT2 I used to make it a mission to collect all of the BTCC cars. I wish they were in GT5. I suppose its a pity that in real life there is no money in BTCC any more, and no makes like Volvo, Renault, Alfa Romeo, Ford, Nissan etc. Shame.

Part of me likes to think that the inclusion of the BTCC cars in GT2 was a nod to the Codemasters ToCA series of games that, at the time, were often held up to be serious competition to Gran Turismo.

I didnt know that GT2 had so many BTCC cars. I hope to see BTCC and WTCC cars in GT5 because GT3 had none and GT4 only had the BMW 320 ETCC '03. This was a very poor representation for amazing cars like these.

It's should be Vauxhall, not Opel

in my version of the game it's an opel. In the european version it's an vauxhall

3 cosas:1)El Chaser NUNCA estuvo en el BTCC, puedes mirar todo tipo de registros, videos etc del BTCC que no lo vas a encontrar allí. 2) El Chaser corrió en el JTCC y en youtube mismo tienes videos que lo demuestran. 3) En el JTCC estuvieron el Chaser, el Corona o Carina ( st191), el Corona Exiv ( que no es lo mismo que un corolla), yCorolla de varias generaciones. 4)Cierto que en el Gran Turismo se puede elegir en azul, pero esa decoracion solo existía en rojo, el azul se lo han inventado.

Perdon, al final eran 4 cosas jeje, y no pretendo enfadarte, lo siento si lo parece. Por cierto esfinje, no se si tienes razon pero lo miraré, nunca me habia preguntado si corrieron por ejemplo en el macau guia por ejemplo, ya que alli corrieron coches del JTCC tambien

Ese Chaser es del JTCC y no existió nunca en azul y blanco, era rojo y blanco

2 cosas: 1) el chaser estuvo en el BTCC y el coche de toyota en el JTCC es el Exiv (o Corolla). Y 2) hay dos colores para elegir el Chaser, y yo lo elegí azul

The 155 was always slow . At least i felt it that way

The 155 it's the BTCC car most slow of the game. But the faster car it's the Toyota Chaser (only car with Turbo)

It's also because it's one of the few with a similar-to-proper BTCC 2.0 liter engine, like the Renault Megane Coupè (later BTCC, about 96) that you can tune.

The other ones are bigger (Audi 2.8, some other are 2.5)...

I used the Primera and Mondeo a lot in this game . Espcially in these races

btcc supertouring are 2.0 litre machines, and only the mondeo had a v6 engine.

The Chaser have a Line-6 engine and the Audi A4 and Renault Laguna Had a V6 Engine
