  • I don't really like special ed because the works too esy and I get 100% on all my test in math. BUT I'm still in special ed, I still think special ed should be around, but they need to make some changes.

  • being in sped isnt a bad thing at all! ive been in it sense i was in kindergarten! it something that DOES need attention to. I have EDD OCD ADHD. yeah they arent serious but when all combined, its pretty bad :(. think every day worry about what people think, and wanting everything to be nice and neat and panicking about everything at once then getting distracted... yeah its not easy :\. having a learning disability doesnt make you retarded it makes you different yes.

  • Special education is for people who are either mentally retarded or have below-average cognitive functioning.

  • Gay Speds

  • my so-called "special ed" teachers at school treat all of them (include me) like dumbasses

  • @HORRORTV1 Same, except the ones I have right now, and one that was very nice (not my teacher though).

  • I don't want ot be free range. I can't tell the difference between shapes because I'm schizophrenic.

  • I need to go where the peasants are babysat. 2/3 of Russian children go to schools for children with developmental disorders. Please get me out of here.

  • Thanks Bush. I don't like you. Thanks for lying and playing and not even facing me. I told you "I done wrong." It was an accident. They exploited me.

  • @returnoftheramble3 Are you talking about No child left behind? Us kids with LD need NCLB.Too many

special need kids are left behind and it must stop.

  • no one need special education

  • thought this video was AMAZING! I have a passion for Special Education and am proud to say we have come SOOOO far! This has happened by collaboratively sharing our vision, creating and implementing plans that work, and continuous monitoring and evaluating progress (ISLLC #1).

  • its sucks being in special ed... i have "emotional" disabilities because Ive been in to many fights. i dont have a learning disorder yet the give me very easy work... i feel like im being slowed down because im not getting school work at my grade level.

  • @snakebites34 Request it, be sincere. I did that.

  • nice clippings

  • @TheJaiBro thank you

  • cool presentation :)

  • @bfsalvadorjr thanks!

  • @MultiSnooty all special children needs our help, even those with mental retardation.

  • @MultiSnooty You are very wrong

  • @MultiSnooty you should go to hell

  • What are the titles to the movies that was used in this video...

  • @snkm12 these are the titles of the videos: the elephant man, forrest gump, i am sam, and radio..enjoy! God bless

  • Thanks for posting this video. I was feeling down because I didn't do so well in college. I have a Learning Disability which makes it harder for me to understand what someone is saying.

But thanks to this vid, along with my mom talking to me, I feel a whole lot better about myself and how I'm not alone with a disability.

By the way, what is the name of the movie with the little girl and her father?

  • the movie with Sean Penn and Dacota Fanning was "I am Sam." A wonderful movie well worth the watch a dozen times over!

  • hahaha loser

  • This is a great compilation of videos which represent the good and the bad of exceptional kids. I am currently working on my ESE degree, thanks for this video. It's great.

  • Nice video! I wonder how the people who watched this film reacted? I'm sure they got somethings to think about and that they were impressed!

  • God loves special children and I love them too. Even though they have exceptionalities, they are still God's great creation. I hope and I pray that you may open your heart for them... God bless

  • I agree, Hufflepuff43090. As a child I thought because I thought differently than others and never fitted in with any group meant, well, that God hated me. But as I grew up, I realize that God loves everyone for who they are on this world.

  • @qtip215 Ignorance,Lety me tell you something I have a learning disability and I do not

feel I deserved to be killed.I passed my GED on the first try after ingnorant people like you tell me to give up.I work and pay taxes,There was no help when I was young.

You need to get your head out of the sand.

  • @doulasc you do not have the same rights, stop trying to be like everyone else, you will never win.

  • @59jjflash they experiment on us, so you can be happy you sadistic freak. You're right; we have NO rights. We will never succeed. All they do is keep us when we're young to make the soccer mom's happy and fucked then destroy us when we age. I bow before Putin in hopes for help. I even made above average grades. I had a difficult time with a thing on the iQ test.

  • @59jjflash What if it was you,I hope you have a special needs child someday,it will serve you right.

  • @doulasc it's not possible for us to succeed. I passed HS, some college and they still come after me. I even got int oa fight with Putin.

  • @returnoftheramble3 I understand how you feel.I had trouble in school and holding down jobs and I blame my LD for it,not lack of motivation. Everytime I wanted to do something to better myself my parents put me down and I would always end up in a argument with them because they did not beleive in me. In the real world people don't understand or even try to understand.

  • @doulasc they just use us because we have nothing to give. "She'll never do anything for you." Okay. Then stop making me do things, right? I don't have a problem with work, just people because we have a different value system. They see us as inferior, so we owe them.

  • @doulasc I enjoyed cyanide. It made me psychic. You should listen to Beck's song "Novacane." yes, misspelled. That's what they do to us. Only we would care. The rest are too caught up in syrup and sunshine.

  • @doulasc I side wit hthe last song. We should just kill until they accept us. I want blood. Nothing else will do. They made me and they made it worse.

  • @doulasc all and all, i'll never be happy if I'm not near my god. You can thank them putting thoughts into my head for that one. I'm not joking.

  • taking special education is not easy we are responsible for the development and teaching of the child... i hope people on earth will help people with special needs to be accepted...

  • this is a nice video...

im a special educations tudent too..

    thanks for uploading it...

    btw..what school ur from??

    God bless you....

  • You're welcome. I'm from Southville International School and Colleges in Las Pinas City. Why? How about you?

  • The existance of any special education schools is illegal anywhere in the United States because it is in conflict with the U.S. Constituation which prohibits discrimination against any category of people and this U.S. Constituation mentions that there are no disabled people as calling anyone special needs only causes hatred and bigotry against other people.

  • They have them, their called centers. Thats where those with extreme exceptional needs go instead of public/private schools.

  • "Mask" Rusty Dennis is the mother of Rocky, a seriously deformed but extremely intelligent and emotionally warm child. Rusty is a no-nonsense mother whose wild lifestyle is often at odds with her tenderness and protectiveness towards Rocky. She is determined that Rocky be given the same chances and happiness that everyone else takes for granted.

Is another good one and then I know several films that have a Deaf focus. It was really well done.

  • "My Left Foot" this is a movie about the life of Christy Brown.

Here is a review I borrowed: In this true story told through flashbacks, Christy Brown is born with crippling cerebral palsy into a poor, Irish family. Has movement in his left foot and speaks guttural sounds, he is believed to be retarded for ten years. Christy not only learns to grapple with life's simple physical tasks and complex psychological pains, but he also develops into a brilliant painter, poet and author.

  • Thanks for posting this, I have been looking every where for a video for a lesson I am teaching to general ed teachers about special ed and this is perfect!

  • thanks! God bless you.

  • What a nice video!!! I am very much interested with special educ. videos, may I know the titles of all the movie clips? please!

  • thanks! these are the titles of the videos: the elephant man, forrest gump, i am sam, and radio..enjoy! God bless

  • nice video...disability child is our responsiblity

  • thanks! yeah it's our duty to serve the people who needs special attention..God bless
