i've got a golf 3 diesel 65 hp, 367000km, runs 160 with ease, 170 in descent :p, it's all about maintenance and driver

Hello, with my golf 3 1.9d (without turbo), I take 170 kph without problem and I took 180 kph in a descent.
My golf in 250 000 km in the meter!!!
I have are 400 km in Spain for 160 kph of average without problem.
Engine AAZ is rather fragile, on the other hand 1.9d is puncture-proof.

yes.i know.the standard diesel engine are stronger than the other with turbo,but all depends on the driver,mine its in a great condition,164 000 km now and it runs great.Turbocharged diesel motor.engine code also is AAZ..

@beauf22 you will never get 170 kmh GPS kmh with 64 hp...my 1z tdi 90hp gets 178-180 GPS speed

that engine starts in a higher rotation the mine starts at 8
