Wayne Dyer overcame many things... alcoholism, abandonment, and negativity. He was not born into this life with the knowledge of the power of positive thinking. This is something he learned over time. We all have the power to change our thoughts for the better, no matter how hard our lives have been! "When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change" What you think and how you treat others, directly affects your life for good, or for bad. It is your choice!
"There are no justified resentments." WOW. That is a mouthful. I cannot say I completely agree with him (being that they are not JUSTIFIED), but I do agree that they ultimately end up hurting the person who is resentful more than the one who caused the pain. Good video.
@BlakeBarbieDoll Thanks You for watching. I tend to agree with Wayne in that, as far as holding resentment. I think it is counterproductive, but it takes a minute to live it sometimes. There is nothing that anyone has done that is worth holding on to. I am always about having my own power. BIG HUG
@AM2M -- a right? not sure i'm agreed with your frame of question. The frame, esp in the video might better be @ forgiveness, and less pithy and simplistic as Dyer asserts--bty Dr. Wayne only has the one message, from his book, "Eroneous Zones", on. This his own issue, inability to forgive, and his self-help marketing is his own way of dealing. He's a good guy, does much more good than harm, yet I'd like him to get more real.

@jerrydoubleu Being resentful of the circumstances keeps u being a victim, instead of taking your own power back.
