Have been a Reds fan since my first trip to Crosley Field in 1957. It's a shame you missed the greatest Red of them all; Frank Robinson. Or anyone prior to 1975 for that matter.
By sweeping both the Phillies and Yankees in 1976, the Reds became the first and (as of 2010) only team to have a perfect postseason since the League Championship Series was started in 1969
Other than a not so great sound track this is a great trip down memory lane!
My childhood was all about the 1975-1976 Reds "The Big Red Machine" they were baseball to me. Morgan, Bench , Rose, Perez, Concepción, Griffey, Foster, Geronimo. A sweep of the Yankees and 5 starters for the All Star Game and oh don't forget Sparky

OK for love of GOD...where in the green Hell is the video of Pete breaking this record???? I have been looking 4 ever?????????? You tube >>>no good ...where is the video I DARE YOU TO FIND IT!!!!! GO 4 it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so many great players have played for the reds. there still only my third favorite team but i still respect the oldest team in the national league. Ken Griffey,Jr. must live on!
Griffey? You were talking about all the great players from the Reds and you mention Griffey? Well, we all have our favorites, I'm just a little surprised is all.
Here in central Kentucky, Reds fever spreads in late February and stays until the last game of the season...which I can only hope last until late October/early November. GO REDS!!!
BIG RED MACHINE!!! I was rasied on REDS baseball in West Virginia. My grandparents called me little Pete and I will never forget it. This is when baseball was pure and fun. Pete played the game like no other, hard and always to win. In my opinion there is NO Hall Of Fame until Pete is in it! #14 always!!!
i love the reds and think pete rose should be in reds and major league baseball hall of fame he bet on the reds to win not lose so it's not like he threw the games or anything
Oh that's just the fair weathered people who call themselves true fans, but the only started cheering for the reds and bengals after they became somewhat decent.
coming from a yankees fan, i must admit that the Big Red Machine is the greatest dynasty of all time. loaded with smart coaches, talented hall of famers, and loyal fans!
and the yanks had everything you just mentioned. the only thing is, i've heard they've done virtual games like big red machine vs. murderers row and the b.r.m. won. i'm not completely sure though.
I am from Europe, (Barcelona-Spain) the Reds are my favorite team!!! and my favorite player: former reds SS Barry Larkin, Without a doubt, he was the best shortstop in the National League in the 1990s and just a great person too. He retired on 2/13/2005. It's time to begin the Hall of Fame campaign!, thanks!!!! you made a great job I love the video.
hey thanx man. hard to believe we have fans outside of cincy. and larkin was my fav too. my dad actually played against him in high school. he'll be in the h.o.f. but he might not get in right away.
oh yeah i forgot. i was at larkins last game to. it was awesome and he gave a speech and everything. it was sad to see him leave, but he was just one of the best.

Yeah I probably did just forget him. But as big of a Red as he was, he was really a Yankee.

Its just odd that you find someone who likes the reds and steelers, most reds fans are from Cincinnati, and most people from Cincy hate Pittsburg

great video ndjdbomber New York city and the Yankees
hate 1976 when the reds swept them in the world series
and still do not acknowledge 1976 as existing in thier
history and are still going through post traumatic stress disorder

hopefully Barry Larkin gets into the hall on his first try
