@mynameisleeyesitis it would want to be... it was double the price..lol. but in ways it was good, but having the BBC bias behind it was unfair on other machines. it was good you could code ASM from the basic prompt sure.. but the sound chip compared to c64 etc.l own a 128 master now, not many games I really play on it TBH... but a few are really nice.. but not enough compared to the other 2 machines.
Max throttle, Gary clipper, Desmod Dash, Johny Turbo, Percy Veer, Davey Rocket, Gloria Slap, Wilma Cargo, Sid Spoiler, Harry Fume, Hugh Jengine, Dan Dipstick, Willy Swerve, Billy Bumper, Roland Slide, Rick Shaw, Miles Behind, Slim Chance, Peter out... I used to drive my mum mad playing this for endless hours....
Its amazing how crap this was, but at the time, it was AWESOME!!! :) Even mid-nineties games reek nowadays mostly. I do have Grand Prix Legends from Sierra Sports though!! now that's a simulator.
Graphically it was nothing to write home about though it still managed to get a good feel of speed but the handling feel on it was superb for the day.

What a load of rubbish! I think you naturally exclude yourself from giving any valid opinion when you admit to not having owned one. Eesh!
(The best most complex 8bit game ever came from the Beeb as well: Exile)

If you hit it just right, you can do the chicane in 5th gear. I have never been able to complete the sharp corners on the extra tracks.
