  • geez! u guys get alot of injuries. we use kettlebells alot. my gym is having a strongman trialothon(not sure on spelling) where we do timed 40lb medicine ball throwing, and farmers walk with the 70lb kettlebells. i just started in them. but they will for sure get u in great shape.

  • oh i ment with working with such heavy kettlebells. i saw some other vids. of the stuff u guys do with heavy weight. very cool! i'm just started on the 35lb doing circuit training with them, for my mma fights.

  • I have never gotten a new injury from using kettlebells. My back was hurt once and I pressed one and hurt it worse, but other than that, nothing.

  • Just have to start at the bottom huh? I have never lifted weights, and did concrete work and bodyweight exercises. But my new coach training in sambo and judo, and visited russian alot, and loves kettlebells. we usually do a 20 min workout on them before every class. but they seem like a really good way of working with heavy weight, and keeping the injuries on the side lines. best of luck to u!

  • kettlebell gives you more functional strength than a dumbbell
