I've also been listening to rap since I was a kid. I'm assuming that since you have "everything" from classic rock to swing, that you listen to and like classic rock and jazz.

watched them in Raleigh NC with black stone cherry in a house for about 300 ppl, it was a really rockin show, high energy, made my friends who didnt listen to buckcherry or BSC grab a cd on their way out.

This music is just plain annoying. There is nothing substantial at all here in terms of music. These guys couldn't keep up with a real musician if their lives depended on it. As with anything, instead of only seeing the negatives, see the potential positive. So when I tell you that your music sucks, that will either convince you to check out some different music, or it will strengthen your conviction in liking what you like, and why you like it. @corvette024 Well that's fine, if it makes you feel better to believe that. I would be surprised if your collection was more diverse; if it is then good for you. I listen to quite an expanse of music as well. "Classic rock" and jazz; largely. 80 gigs on iTunes, plus a ton of stuff in other audio formats like FLAC. I've also been listening to rap since I was a kid. I'm assuming that since you have "everything" from classic rock to swing, that you listen to and like classic rock and jazz.

@corvette024 Although most people have never heard of him, he made millions on his own, without the help (paying) record companies for radio airtime. He did everything himself and achieved more success than he would have working with a record company. His talent alone (not to mention all of his band members over the years) was greater than anything heard on the radio. This is just one example of one band, out of many highly talented groups that are largely unheard of, so maybe you see my point.

There was no more talented rock band in it's time, despite the fact that the guitarist/composer/band leader essentially rebuilt the whole band every few years, it only gets better. This man produced a total of over 80 albums, with world class musicians; he wrote all of the music.
