  • can you still go inside? how did u get in? i live just outside of Detroit and wanted to go explore is it safe?

  • @ROMEartifactCHILD its being renovated and you will be charged with a felony if caught!

the way we got in was insane, i wont recommend it to anyone. like i said though, felony, not worth it

  • Sweet, love vintage Metallica, I miss the way they used to be :(

  • @AJBMP43 the last album they had that i liked was and justice for all.

i may have used other metallica in videos too. i think theres a nrph one somewhere with them. i think i used sanitarium (like everyone does lol)

  • this building is being renovated!!!!!!

  • Is it still like this? It seems like so many of the beautiful buildings in Detroit are either being destroyed or rebuilt... I guess the second one is a good thing but I really like the look of abandoned buildings, haha

  • @GerardwHey no its not like that. in fact, theyre renovating it as we type! i hate losing a building that i explore, but this is WAY better than tearing it down.

  • It's too bad that realistically none of these buildings will ever be renovated because of the old building materials. The asbestos and lead based paint would be so expensive to get rid of in the shape it's in. All because of neglect, sad.

The only one that stands a chance in the train station, because people love that building.

Great videos though. I live right outside of Detroit and I go to Wayne, I've always wanted to go into these buildings, just never had the chance, I'm not going alone.

  • @warren7512 they renovated the fort shelby, book cadillac, and are in the middle of doing the broderick. there is some hope left!

  • @bagaauwk Well that certainly is promising. Keep the videos coming man, good shit.

  • Nice love the song from The boondocks

  • @ChrisRizz2010 "syd lives" is a very good friend of ours, and used to hang with us every weekend. his job moved him to north carolina, so now we only see him a couple times a year

  • Wow I had no clue this building was in such sad shape inside. I find it amazing you can still find so much in these buildings. Has the Broderick been abandoned a long time? Finally what the building you zoomed in on at the 3:18 mark? Is it in use?

  • @AxmKap no, but its sealed and theyve been working on it inside

  • @AxmKap What you saw at 3:18 was Book Tower, it is currently vacant.

  • What's the first song? 0-0:32

  • theres a wikipage on this building, says there turning it into apartments and offices

  • @elbowlickerr yeah theyve been saying that for like 15 years

  • @bagaauwk lol i dint realise that, im in the uk so dont really no much but there was a documentry on tv a few nights ago called requiem for detroit. its crazy how alot of the areas are like this, the city just seems empty. thanks for the uploads.

  • @bagaauwk I'm writing this on april 27 of 2011, it is currently being renovated into a residential building.

  • They Locked it up pretty good recently and have started work on the first few floors. And yeah the bar seems like it is only open periodically. We were just in this week.

  • @LordAwesome yeah i heard some work actually started, but im guessing they were just getting the bar ready to go for baseball season. typically, that bar is only open during baseball games

  • @bagaauwk I'd say there was some activity in the floors above the bar as well, at least up to the 4th or 5th floor. Also, we did the Book tower, and cass tech....cass we dayblazed and went right in the window, ended up having to wait it out due to law enforcement. And of course MCS which is a tourist location.

  • dint they start turning the building into condos/ commercial space this year?

  • @badgerattoadhall lol theyve been saying that for years!

  • @bagaauwk they have a very nice web site....brodericktower (dot) com

    LOL

  • The scale of once was that now is no more is amazing to see. Great vids u do. All of them.

  • at least it's nicer towards the riverfront. If the City was supposed to be finished renovating The Broderick by twenty-ten, why is no work done?

  • the city doesnt own it and really have no say in what happens to it. the owner seems to just put signs up to make people think hes gonna do something with it. oh and he opens a bar every couple years on the main floor. he must need the money

  • Oh. I honestly just glance at it when I see it. I NEVER go inside any of the buildings. i am a huge fan of these videos, though.

    URBAN SPELUNKING FTW!

  • check out trespassertv. com

  • Yeah I went onto there yesterday.

These videos give me the perfect ideas. Hope I remember to bring my camera next time I go Downtown. I know where all your video locations are, except for outside Detroit.

  • whats the strangest thing youve ever found inside a building ?

  • ya see so much weird shit in these places that you dont consider it weird anymore.

i guess the strangest thing ive seen was proof of satanic cults sacrificing animals at an asylum back in the 80s

  • wat was da building used for

  • This is going to be the fate of the Renaissance Center towers when GM goes belly up and nobody is there to take care of the buildings.

  • how do u not run into gangs or hobos in these places?

  • we do. most avoid us like the plague, some others come up and talk to us, but then realize they dont wanna fuck with us.

we're a pretty rough lookin crew

  • haha oh. you run into gangs though?

  • gangs? nah

  • thanks, and yes, thats the motor city casino

  • You guys are really the prime creepers on youtube. my respect.

  • what was this building used for?

  • Hi, i`m from argentina, this is amazing!!, detroit it`s a great city, here in La Plata, Argentina, there aren`t much buildings like that, you have webb site??, and you have videos of the book tower??

  • I have been lost in your videos all day. Never stop!

  • oh i wont!

i got shit from last week to do, i got something planned from a 3 year old tape, and i still hit a building every weekend.

not to mention the 80 videos already on here

  • dude how did u get the people to fade away like that?

  • it helps to know that youre going to do that when you film, that way you can make sure the camera is still. then, in windows movie maker, cut out parts, and add the 'fade' effect in between the cuts.

its prety easy once youve messed with it a little.

if you have any further questions, send me a private message

  • Dude SICK ending!!!

  • thanks dude!

  • something tells me that soon the old St.annes high school in tecumseh ontario (just down the street from my house) will end up like this someday ill make sure of it

  • Yeah! You made it in! There is steam coming out one of those buildings, tunnels?

  • ive been in a bunch of times, look thru some of my older videos.

while there are 250+ buildings in detroit which still run on steam, im not sure the steam in this video is from that.

    i should find out.

  • It's too bad how dead that town is. Maybe one day Detroit will come back.

  • i hope so, it sure is rough around here
