@taraandchristie9 A few reasons-the first being his weight. He is normally a bantam weight (135lbs) or a small featherweight. He is also 36-a bit older than they'd like. And a friend/training partner of Aoki. Possibly strikeforce but his last match wasn't that good (split dec. loss).

@gameloveblog No disrespect man, but Imanari`s opponents dont walk into the cage/ring to drink tea and have a conversation about the weather. There is a good reason why they make all fghters sign wavers. I can see what you say though. Moves like the inverted heel hook are incredibly dangerous. If your going to blame somone for that, blame the ref. Its his job to immediately stop the contest before anyone is seriously injured. Imanari`s job to win by any means within the domain of the rules.

i think heel hooks are too dangerous and ruin fighters careers. I was out with a completely torn knee cuz of one. Notice how they don't grab their ankle they grab their knee. That's a torn ACL, Miniscus, PCL, MCL etc... who knows. All i know is its too fast and quick to tap and results in a year of no training and 50 000 dollar surgery
