  • you had in plugged in?! cheater! my 93 accord started -43 once! was amazing, NEVER plugged her in!

  • why the hell would you buy a v10 . go diesel . gas trucks suck

  • Comment removed

  • Tim Hortons in the cup holder, classic !

  • gas??????

  • is it posible to do a plug in like you have on the V10 im in the uk England

  • @skodas you need a block herater to plug into... but i am sure?

  • @skodas if the vehicle you have has the plug for it, then u just need the adaptor for it to work, maybe also a transformer to lower the voltage. as far as aftermarket engine block heaters go, i have no idea

  • nice truck! love the v10's!

  • omfg, omfg, omfg the planet is sinking but my v10 is starting perfect. is my hair looking ok?? a forester, a touareg or an amarok will smoke your mammoth truck in offroad and as an extra, all 3 combined will, most likely, use less fuel. pointless vehicle

  • @jq331 ...your a funny hippi...move on thanks for watching...oh ps your hybred electric car....wont start when its -40 so i guess your f**ked then have a great winter!

  • @crazyfarm31 it's hybrid. and hybrid cars don't need have cold start problems, because it runs with electric power till 50 km/h. i would think twice if i were u.

  • @CIKO32123 It is a basic fact of physical science that batteries run down more quickly in cold weather than they do in warm weather, Running the heater to stay warm, or the car radio to stay informed, would drain the battery further. anyone living anywhere that temperatures drop below the temperate risks getting stuck with a dead battery. so if you feel like walking home in -40 with wind to be more eco friendly i have one word for you......SUCKER , i will wave when i drive by ..:) cheers!

  • @crazyfarm31 lol, calm down. i just like the idea of saving the planet. thought hybrid cars would do better. well, seems like they don't. haha but calm down buddy. i don't drive one of those hybrid cars. i just like the idea, like i said. i own a 2.0 tdi.

  • @CIKO32123 lol no they would be awesome in warm climates but i am afraid in alberta or yukon ect anywhere north they wouldnt survive, the cold is very hard on the vehicles its hard on everything, this winter it got to -50 for a day our propane froze for our house it got pretty cold in the house...it is definitly not nice even plugged in the trucks wouldnt start we were pretty much f**ked.

    thanks for watching cheers

  • @CIKO32123 did you know if everyone stopped polluting and made no pollution for 100 years the weather would only go down 1 degree? Why bother. Trucks are useful, always start up and when you need to haul stuff they can only do the job. I don't know about you but I would rather take a truck over a piece of shit earth friendly fag mobile.

  • @Rarrin9378 coming from a guy with a acura picture an his profile :D don't get me wrong, but it's not only the temperature. it's the ozon layer aand lots of other stuff too. this year, the ozon hole was twice the big then last year. and double the people in germany got skin cancer. well, i'm not one of those economical fags, but i just like the idea. i drive a tuned 193 hp 2.0 turbo diesel vw golf 5 :D and that baby is not a green saver. trust me buddy :D

  • @CIKO32123 I take those people spent too much time in the sun? And we own 2 Acura's and one is a 2002 Acura TL Type S which is seen in several videos on my channel and an unseen 1991 Acura Integra LS. Both get horrible gas mileage and have ridiculous amounts of power and they are good cars for living where I do, but in snowing places trucks are good. My dad has a 1993 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 with the 5.7 350 and 350k miles and runs great. Hahaha, that car sounds awesome you got!

  • @jq331 the planets fine

  • Heartjagger. His parents have a lot of nice trucks.he sounds about twelve dude

  • Hi good vid it looks freezing lol im from the uk coldest ive started in was -28 are u going to do another cold start vid this year ??

  • Try a synthetic power steering fluid, like those from Redline. For me, that has always cured that whine from the power steering pump at temps of -25 F or colder

  • cold starts on gasoline engines dont mean shit. they love cold weather. the colder it is, the better they run because the air is more dense.

  • you've got alotta nice trucks!

  • do you live in the fuckin Yukon. didn't look like you even let the glow plugs cycle. oh ya I almost forgot, EEHH!

  • @shmuckaluck ehhh...you know how to read douch bag? ITS A F-ING V10 dip shit

  • @crazyfarm31 Don't you love the wanna be know it alls?

  • @crazyfarm31 hahahahahahahahahahah!!!!!!!!

  • @crazyfarm31 So does that V-10 have glow plugs?

  • @CSXtrackworker yea it does dipshit omg.....your a retard

  • @CSXtrackworker im a dipshit? Mabey it's just that your too fucking stupid to realize what I posted was a joke. Mabey in reference to schmuckaluck's post? Ever think of that?

  • @CSXtrackworker sorry my wrong i am so used to assholes posting on here, sorry.

  • @crazyfarm31 not a problem!

  • American cars tend to whine a lot in general.

  • @3ggt3 Shut the fuck up asshole, I highly doubt you could get a non-diesel european car to start up in these conditions.

  • @iXetsuei No seriously, it shouldn't whine like that. Afterall, I mean its a 2008, pretty much brand new. By the way, why on Earth would you put a cold start video under the Pets & Animals category?

  • @3ggt3 Looks like we've got a fucking genious auto engineer here on youtube guys!

The conditions are whats causing it to whine. Like I said, if you tried to start up a european engine in these conditions they wouldn't just whine, they wouldn't start up at all. You really don't seem to get how cold -35 is and what it can do to an engine and its gas/oil/coolant.

  • @iXetsuei Volvo S40 2.0i 1996, -35, unplugged: No problem.

    Honda Civic 2.0 Type-R 2001, - 42, Unplugged: No problem.

    Volvo 240 2,0 1988 (!), - 40, Plugged: No problem.

Honda Civic 1,3, 1993, -35, Plugged: No Problem.

Dodge Caliber 2,0, 2006, -35, Plugged: Chewed until the battery went dead.

  • @iXetsuei Dumbass? What makes you think I'm even remotly interested in "backing my shit up" to you?

  • @86Bascha Haha dude just get off this video if you're going to troll. And BMW V6 engines?? LOL!!!! BMW only makes straight sixxers! Man you're fucking dumb! hahahaha. If you hate American cars so much why are you on a video of a FORD truck? Bitch please, I bet arguing on the internet makes your penis feel that much bigger :)

  • @iXetsuei 1. V6 is a quick error. Typing without thinking. I was reffering to the in-line 6 in 325. 2. Who said I hate American cars? 3. I'm hardly the one arguing here. 4. Look @The2001cobra 's reply and take notice of how to discuss with people online. 5. Learn to behave and stop insulting people. (BTW, don't see what my penis size has to do with anything?)

  • @86Bascha haha the guy with the small dick is mad! point and laugh everyone!! hahahaha

  • @86Bascha

2.0L,2.0L,2.0L,2.0L and a 1.3L all have a little bores=small pistons with short strokes=small rods and with little blocks=small cranks with 3-5qts of oil. Big 6,8,10+ cyl motors have 2-6+ more cylinders to crank over that are bigger and longer with cranks twice the length holding twice as much oil its simple physics a heavier rotating mass needs a bigger starter (not gonna fit amp draw would be huge) or heat to help preheat the block and oil? Understand the difference here?

  • @The2001cobra Yeah, aware of this.

My comment is a response to @iXetsuei claiming that european cars would not start in these conditions. In Finland and see these temps every year, and the temps in my comment are all in celsius. I also have BMW's V6 and V8 engines, and VW W12 around me that has no problems unplugged, but i have not owned one, so i did'nt use them as reference.

To say europeean cars would'nt start in these conditions, and that a diesel starts easier, is just stupid.

  • My V8 sounds pretty whiney and pissed when I start it in the winter

  • Thats a nice truck ..started pretty well for temps that cold

  • does pliging it in charge the battery or something

  • @beastly789100 it plugs into the block heater wich keeps the oil warm so its easier to start :)

  • @crazyfarm31 oh ok lol thanks

  • Spost to let the glow plugs do their thing before....

  • @Tdaz250 description says v10 i.e gasser no glow plugs

  • Id be more than happy to make that canadian squeal!!!!! oooops did i type that aloud

  • that sqeak is the power steering, happens to my ford all winter long.. very annoying

  • ive been wondarin aboat this...

  • cold stars consist of being cold not pluged in my ford has issues staring tha cold to

AND CANADA RULES I HATE CHRISTMAS CAROLS lol played to much up here in canada

  • cold stars consist of being cold not pluged in my ford has issues staring tha cold to

  • should of gotten a diesel

  • @xmodrock your a sad human insulting some one over a video -30 sux i know your just petitful life would be easier if smart ass bastards like you would just shut-up you sad weak basterd

  • haha yeaa the canadian squeal

  • i do infact prefer dodge, but shit...thats a beautiful truck

  • @brraatt we like dodge to my hubby had a cummins 2001 great truck last forever! thanks for watching!

  • @brraatt i preffer dodge to and ya that is a nice truck a had a 2005 cummins most reliable truck in the world

  • @crazyfarm31 every year after 2003.5 ford made garbage diesels ... though my buddy has had his 08 for 2 years now and its quick and has never had a problem... so whos to say. Just seemed like a pointless video to me ... maybe cause im from bc and share similiar weather haha

  • Where do you live in Canada? I live in Southern Alberta. My 2001 Ford F150 4x4 Supercab Flareside starts in -35 with out being plugged in. It does the 'canadian squel' too, just for a couple seconds then completely goes away. Do you know what that is?

  • @nonamejoe56 northern alberta...and oh it starts but it isnt good for them to start them all the time without plugging them inin those temps, plus its windy as f**k here so the windchill doesnt help and i think its the power steering pump

  • @crazyfarm31 You think its windy there, I live in the Crowsnest Pass, which is one of the windiest places in the world. There is not a day here that is not windy. We see 80km winds on a regular basis, which is not the limit either!

  • @crazyfarm31 yep p/s pump

  • @crazyfarm31 Yeah your right the noise you hear is the powersteering pump, my cousin has the same truck as yours but with the diesel. The diesel has tons of power for towing but there is something wrong with it, sometimes it has good power and other times its guttless. It uses alot of fuel towing 18 L per hundred KM.

    Happy New Year!

  • @nonamejoe56 I believe the noise comes from the power steering pump. The oil is so cold what you are hearing is cavitation of the pump until the oil warms up and starts to circulate.

  • In your information section you said V-10, i didnt know you had to plug in a gas engine... Is this a typo or can you purchase gas vehicles with block heaters?

  • @Mitch14077 yes its a v10 in alberta/saskatchewan it get very cold so thus all vehicles come with block heaters or you wont be going very far in the winter...

  • @crazyfarm31 seemed to start pretty danm good to me!

  • do you still have binkey? bwahahaha.....LOL

  • you should learn starting a car, before takin a vid of you doing that :)

  • @Newtsed you should learn how to speak/spell before saying stupid shit like this

  • @crazyfarm31 you should learn how to buy a truck... diesel is the way to go

  • @xmodrock coming from someone who probably drives a neon... thanks for watching!!!! ;)

  • @crazyfarm31 LMFAO i got a cobra and an F250 Diesel sunshine ;-)

  • @xmodrock sure you do sunshine XOXOX

  • @crazyfarm31 ill post vids just to prove you and the other kid that doesn't believe me :-) not all people are poor hicks like yourself.. some of us have educations and don't buy V10 trucks ;-)

  • @xmodrock you dont need to prove to me your a what us hicks call spoiled lil brat... xoxoxox :)

  • @xmodrock by the sounds of your additude at your age your a sad sad soul i have things that you will never have i am happily married to a great husband and i have a newborn baby girl i dont ned a cobra or to try to belittle people so i look cool...i wish you a happy life your gonna need it at your age.

  • @crazyfarm31 ha your a simple fuck.. simplicity and lack of intelligence makes you happy.. how pathetic you really are.. women always are... shouldn't you be in the kitchen instead of on the computer?

  • @xmodrock end of conversation sunshine..have a nice life/thanks for watching

  • @crazyfarm31 you too and no problem

  • @xmodrock "lack of intelligence" haha. You're not your, buddy. Nice try :P.

  • @1Adrenoline1 diesel is better... the gas V10 always sucked.. and always will

  • @Newtsed Seemed to start it okay. or are you going to nit-pick like an old woman? or maybe you'll find a reason to goof on him because he's Canadian. shut up you small-dicked fatwad

  • its a ford thats y u gota plud it in or itll never start get a duramax or cummins and it will start without haven to be plugd in

  • i live in canada to and i dont need to plug my truck in too start it in the winter

  • @Kwing1413 yea.........must just be me then

  • @Kwing1413 Buy a real truck. If it doesnt take diesel its not a truck.

  • @Pyroman7489 I've heard diesel and subzero temperatures don't mix so well.

  • Damn Ford power steering pumps! lol

  • @karkraz LOL

  • I was told that some just leave the trucks running unless of course maintinence needs to be done. Is this true?

  • @suburbanator91 yup when i am driving truck in the winter i leave it running rather than plug it in a pray it starts, LOl

  • @suburbanator91 wtf? build a cheap shed to keep wind off and plug the thing in. instead you are going to wear out a truck by idling it 12-15 hrs a day? duh.

  • isn't that the powersteering growling?

  • I didnt see if that was a diesel, but you supposed to wait for the fuel pump to pump the diesel and the glow plugs to warm it up you just turned the key, you should always wait.

  • @blazejewski dont worry its a v10- i know how to drive diesels, i drive a 450 cat sterling for a living,

  • its a brand new truck y wuld it not start?

  • @fanboychumchum1000 it started, its just -40 here with the wind that day nothing wants to start

  • Ya so if you forget to plug your truck in, you'll be spending about 509$ on injectors :(

  • It's fucking july and the sound of that snow makes me shiver...

  • Had a couple -50F days this past winter in MN here and my ford car roared to life, lol. :-)

  • @mattg889 LOL i know this winter was horrible, LOL we had a couple -50 days as well..LOL thanks for watching!

  • move to louisiana, you'll forget about that thing people reffer to as snow.

  • your bugs down there and snakes ect are to big!!! down here nothing creepy can live ëxcept french people" LOL ;-)

would love to go see it there though-!

    thanks for watching! cheers!

  • @crazyfarm31 I don't know anything more creepy than the QC french people

  • Weird car sound when it starts up lol

    Nice video ;)

  • thank you for watching! ;-) gotta love our cold winters, LOL

  • Lol :P, and I already hate the -15 out here in the Netherlands. The sun has finally returned now =)

  • @BroekieTV i believe that would be the power steering pump the fluid is so cold it doesnt flow well

  • YAY for Canadian winters, I live in Lloydminster, and this past winter we had about 10-13 days of just hellish cold weather, the coldest was -43 without the windchill, surprised my truck started, i even forgot to plug it in one night, that was a rough start...

  • we had one day here of -50!!!!!!!!!!! it was crazy! my propane for the house froze up even it has never done that! we are just south of edmonton..

  • nice licence plate u really know what machine to get:) now you just need to learn what the right kind of pickup is that you need to get next!

  • thanks yea i will take it in to consideration...i know definitly it wont be a duramax....LOL ;-)

  • What's the purpose of this stupid video, again?

  • @maersklandro just to piss off jerk offs such as yourself, have a nice day

  • Then it would have failed in that, as well.

By the way, what are you doing prancing about out of the kitchen?

  • yet again...trying to piss you off sweety...xoxo

  • @crazyfarm31

erase those comments and block such bad users

I wouldn t answer - makes it worse- but that s up to you

    i did it as well

Take care and all the best

    erasenutjoschi

  • @Gasteraner no i like everyone out there to see everyones channels who leaves bad comments...so they look like idiots...lol thanks alex! ;-)

  • i live in canada, and that isnt a canadian squeel, a chevy never squels like that, only fords do it, in fact fords do it in summertime as well, whine, whine

  • @jaymehann your funny....chevs dont have the chance to squeel they are always in the shop getting fixed or more fiberglass for their rust holes you must be from quebec....

  • @crazyfarm31 im from alberta, got 2 chevs that made it over 300 000 clicks without any major work done to them, and they still run like new, there is nothing wrong with the squeel, its just fords is really distinct

  • yea they do dumbass, engine dont care what brand of truck its in, Im a chevy guy and have heard them squeal just as much as ford or dodge, Just what happens when its cold, dont mean anything is wrong.

  • @Rlnthndr i never said that there is anything wrong, my brother in law got a v10 as well and it squeels the excact same, all of them do

  • No doubt, I do not know why people bet so brand loyal and crazy...Ford and Dodge use quality diesels in their trucks...I am not much of a fan of the D-max because it is an Isuzu made diesel.

  • just curious. did you even wait for the glow plugs?

  • yea i did but they didnt warm up because its a gas v10....humm??? weird huh...

  • haha that makes a bunch more sense now. amazing what reading the description does for ya... sorry my bad i never saw a v10 come with a block heater so i just assumed. and these new damn diesels are so quite they damn near sound like a gasser especially since i had my speakers turned way down for i didint wake anyone up so ya. sorry that made me look like a jackass. lol

  • LOL thats o.k, LOL everyone always tries to crap on me bout this video and i get ya every time, LOL you men trying to make a woman trucker look stupid, LOL ;-) sall good mate!

  • ha well i never intended stupidity either way i was just curious. cuz i was like what the heck i dont even see the light on the dash lol. but okay sounds good. enjoy that wonderfull weather.

  • lol from alberta canada, she is getting cold this weekend, -32 ekk... i hate it! what bout you/?

  • lol be nice! ;-)

  • LOL! I think this was one of the very 1st videos of yours that I saw! Never commented on it though!

  • meany! LOl

  • What? Me? I was told never to talk to strangers! So pffft! LOL!

  • haha ohh. wow do you have ur period right now? and now i know why it sounded so quite. i just thought those 6.4's are just super quite. sorry for popping ur bubble lol.

  • thats o.k next time read the description ;-) like the rest of the people harping me on here, lol i do kknow about diesels i do drive a gravel truck...LOL

  • haha ok. i just forgot that ford offers a gas motor in the 1 ton.

  • yea they are good trucks we went with the v10 because the new diesels are supposed to be painfull, break down all the time and hard on fuel so i have heard from friends...

  • ohh yeah v10. what kind of millage do u get with the v 10? the diesels are alot better for toeing tho

  • 18 liters per 100 km, it is actualy better than my last 05 1/2 ton 5.4 l, LOL the new diesels are supposed to be crazy stupid with the gas milage with all the new emmisions reduction crap...lol

  • ohh yea there bad. about 10 or 8 mpgs. its hard to get that number up to.even if u take all the emmison shit of. dodges do pretty good if u take the shit of. not hard to get 22 out of a 6.7 cummins. ford really needs a new diesel motor. not a power joke

  • yea my husband has a 01 dodge cummins awesome motor i heard ford actualy somehow owns cummins?? i wish they would come out with cat engins :-) my gravel truck has a 425 cat motor awesome, they need to make smaller ones for one tons..then they be made :-)

  • hahah ohh yes. i dont want dodge to looose cummins. its just a dodge thing now. cat in ford would be purfect. then i wouldent be able to decide witch truck i like more lol

  • yea my forestry trucks were 08 f350's. i blame the DPF's for poor fuel economy but they were brutal. our dually 450 averaged 36L/100km and the 350's were right around 30-32L's. but we were towing a helicopter and a fuel trailer most of the time. where abouts you from? im thinking alberta with no front plate

  • i am from alberta yes you are right :-) LOL thats what i heard the diesels are awefull! thats why we went with the 10 banger, LOL

  • wow retard you dident even let it pre heat.

  • You can tell its cold by the crunching of the snow. I hate the cold. Last year the door on my ford got frozen shut and once I finally og it open the lock mechanism in the door was frozen so it wouldnt close. I had to hold the door shut while stopping or turning. lol

  • LOL yea she gets cold here! the one day my hand froze to the door handle, LOL cheers!

  • Wow. lol. now thats cold!

  • no i was kidding, AHAHAHAH , but yes it does get to -40 here pretty bad trucks do not like it at all, LOL

  • I dont think any car or truck likes the cold. neither do I. lol

  • god i hate our Canadian winters.

  • diddo! LOL

  • Nice Truck! Don't you hate those frigid mornings :P

  • thank you !

  • nice....gasser though

  • thanks :-)

  • ever heard of glow pugs?

they work beautifully when you use them.

  • hey asshole its a V10 GAS it doesnt have "glow plugs"

  • HAHA.........Nice

  • I've started a Subaru Justy at -28F here once, without being plugged in. Now THAT amazed me...haha. In Interior Alaska we get -50 to -60 for a few weeks around January, and if you don't have a garage, and you don't have a snowmobile, you're gonna be a pedestrian.

  • THATS CRAZY! LOL no thanks i will stay here in alberta ;-) LOL you need sled dogs LOL

  • is that a f- tree fiddy? :) ( F-350

  • 10-4 rubber ducky!,lOL
