Charlie has a pretty hot band today with June Core on drums; Mike Philips on bass and Matthew Stubbs on guitar. Charlie's always been able to find great sidemen. I was a pleasure playing with his new band at the Iron Horse Cafe.

Charlie Musselwhite is awesome. That harmonica tone, that voice, that way to stand in front of an audience. You can feel history blowin' through the harp.

Had the opportunity to see Musselwhite at Kingston Mines in Chicago he put on a great show and I spoke with him briefly between shows Great harp player and also a real nice guy
