ruthie is fantastic!!! i got to see you in columbia mo. earlier this year at the blue note and the show was awesome!!! everyone needs to hear ruthie sing! if ya get the chance to go see her sing GO!!!

Ruthie, Thanks so much for this mini-documentary. Saw you in St. Louis at the Focal Point back in 02 or 03 with Cyd Cassone. You were unforgettable...the best, most inspired performance I've seen. I can hear your ancestors singing with you, yes I do. It was so worth the drive in the snow storm to see you perform that night. Congrats on the grammy nomination...you'll have many more of those as well as other awards, I predict. Just got to share you with the world...everyone needs to hear you sing!
