Shit the last boss was hard. Usually in the Gradius series, the last boss is the easiest of them all, but not salamander, I love it!!

I'LL TAKE YOU TO HELL WITH ME! The fact that this boss actually has the balls to attack you makes me wonder if he was in legue with the Bacterians or not. Excellent sequel to Salamander, eh? The announcer kills me.

It's not quite a bullet-hell shmup, but this game is definitely pretty hard to nail without getting killed more than a few times. Artistically, it's just plain excellent. Thanks for posting this.

The ship in 2 isn't the Lord British, it's the Super Cobra (nice homage from Konami to Super Cobra, the spiritual sequel to Scramble).

Not bad. I would recommend getting more Speed-ups though. Aside from areas like Level 3 and 5, max speed is controllable.
