This video is fake. He switched the phones to make it look like the iPhone was running the full WP7.5 OS, while the Windows Phone was running the iPhone demo. Nice try pal, but any who's used a Windows Phone knows they don't behave this way. The transitions are totally screwed up, its laggy, etc. This is a hoax. Move along people there's nothing to see here. If you want to know the truth, pick up a Windows Phone and see for yourself.

I have an ipad, htc arrive(WP7), and HTC EVO. Honestly, i am yet to see this lag that people are talking about on my EVO or any of my friends droids and I have played around with a lot of them. I have yet to see anyone get a virus on their droid. Buggy--nope runs very well. No quirks out of the ordinary. I will say the UI on WP7 is smoother than on the droid but the droid is still pretty smooth.

@IntroCutie Apple firmware is not open to the public making it a good quality "smooth" product.(when it is jailbrocken the coding is broken and it become a little laggy)

Now Android "laggs because it is a open source software which basically means u get a jailbreak with it, But there is still a a "jailbreak for the android called "rooting the device" which doesn't really change much,BUT ANYWAY

Apple = Customers no change software = smooth

Android = Customers Change software = laggy

also, what makes Android laggy isn't that it is "jailbroken". Not at all. Also, some android phones have to be "rooted" to modify important stuff which means they ship locked and yet they are still slow

@IntroCutie Because Android and iOS handle animations differently. In iOS, animation priority is set to High, so when there is an animation, that's the only thing the phone "cares about" in that moment, everything else comes second. Android works in a different way as animations' priorities are set to Normal, so it's just a task like anything else, you could say android doesn't "consider" animations important. Android also uses the CPU for animations not the GPU, which makes them laggy.
