  • This is Joel Ewing again. I posted something else a bit ago. I live in Tucson, Ariz. and when a young kid (grade school age) my late Dad would drop us off in Albion to spend a few weeks with my grandparents and cousins, the Sanfords. I definitely remember going to something like an "end of school" day or picnic kind of thing out at some country school near Albion or maybe Cedar. I met a kid there and played with him all day, his last name was Maricle. Maybe Gary Maricle? This was prob. 1964-65?

  • Nice video! My late grandparents, Carl and Anna Ewing farmed a bit west and south of Loretto. I spent many wonderful days there...probably the best memories of my life, and I'm 57. My late Dad Randall Ewing was their son. My late Aunt, Marion Ewing married Wayne Sanford of Albion (@ 5W and 2S), aka Mrs. Marion Sanford. She had 4 kids, which are my first cousins, Craig Sanford (Phoenix) Cindy (Sanford) Kugler- Kearney, Bryan Sanford - O'Neill, and Connie (Sanford) Scott- Broken Bow. Thank you!
