You know, there are other games that top Final Fantasy VII by a large margin. But I'm assuming you only mean any other Final Fantasy game. Specificity is key. ;) I, myself, am greatly looking foward to Versus and hope that it can at least come in close range with VII.

ffx was essentially a perfect game...cept for some small things like the voice acting. but seven just had situations that felt so real...the slums, the cursing, the slaughter. I think them "prettifying" it like all the other ffs takes something important away from the story. but versus is looking to have that grit while still being a graphics powerhouse....i too have high hope for this release

Im still holding on to the hope that, Versus will eventually come to the 360, due to the fact that it is being reported that many once exclusive PS3 games, (case and point MGS4) are crossing over to the 360. Besides that , are the end of the day square enix is in the business of making money, and that fact added to the fact they are trying to establish a strong fan base on the 360 lead to the conclusion that versus will be seen on the 360 eventually

MGS4 isnt going to xbox 360.. give it up... they already denied before and after its ps3 launch

and im sure the reason they are making versus XIII is so that PS3 can have its exclusive.. while both platforms can share a piece of that other XIII pie.. its true that Squenix is money hungry.. but its also true that they are still loyal to sony.. AND one last rant.. Xbox isnt big in japan.. playstation fan base there is huge.. its gotta be exclusive

I dont know if you have been paying attention to the many recent articles that show that the 360 fan base is growing exponentially in japan. as far as MGS4 and versus go, it took them awhile to actually admit that MGS2 was coming to the xbox,and withholding versus , and giving 360 owners the first portion of FF13 does not make sense financially

ok MGS2 went to xbox a while after its initial release.. what about mgs1 remake or mgs3??.. its already been proven that MGS doesnt sell on xbox just because of MGS2 xbox release..

FF13 isn't like a two part story tho.. its not divided into "portions".. they are completely different and i wouldn't be surprised if they had different combat systems too..

You make a good point, but then again they show this guy who is a king or something fighting to save his kingdom and the crystals (he should be good), but show him in dark clothes, in a dark scene and killing people (makes him look bad). So I think it probably was intended at him.

Very cool, but the song is called Somnus -Nemuri-. A bunch of Italian fans translated the Latin lyrics, and they thought that Nemuri was the Latin word "Nemoris," but it's actually "Nemuri," a Japanese word that has something to do with sleep/sleepiness.

Somnus is the Roman personification of sleep.
