Electing John McCain is literally 'Raising Cain', because he will push the economy and the world into the Great Depression II.
An attack on Iran is going to push oil to over $250 per barrel or $10 per gallon, because the Iranians will cut off the Strait of Hormuz, through which 80% of the world's oil flows.
Add to that letting the mortgage owners go belly up, in a US economy that has 2/3 of GDP generated by consumers, and you're talking about a scenario that will make the '30s look mild.
