They are so cheap to make! Have a look to see what you have in you stash, I make these all the time from my scraps! You can buy the notepads from the dollar store or you could make your own using photo copier paper and of course you can use any of your supplies or use old wrapping paper, cut up old cards for the images, print images of the internet etc! Hi,

I can't see why you couldn't used a glue gun! Or you could use one of those pen tip glue pens! The pearls are quite easy to put on but I'm all thumbs most of the time lol!

@lotuspu3 Sorry for the late reply, You could try a hot glue gun but just a tiny, tiny bit or you could use a glue pen tip pen or better still self-adhesive pearls from a company like Kasiercraft, that's what I'm using and it cost about $2.00 for a package for different sizes and their so easy to apply!

I use double sided tape by X-Press It and you can find it in your local craft/scrapbook store or even on-line. There are many different makes by different companies on the market, but I find this brand sticks really well!

I have a tall floor lamp and I take of the shade and tape my video camera around the top where I've taken of the lamp shade lol, Hope that makes sense lol! and the lamp stand/camera stand is in front of me! I hope that helps!

don't be so hard on yourself. i think you did a great job! I love the project. I appreciate the conversion annotations. though for those in the US, like me, if you don't know metric, like me too lol, then there are lotsa free converters online to help you figure out quickly. plus, alot of regular cheap basic rulers have inches on one side and centimeters on the other. :)
