well, great catch. Locan Bnsf power is a mix of geep 38-2 or 39-2s and road power from seattle is often dash 9s and the occasional sd 40-2s with a few surprises thrown in but this takes the cake.
Yes this video was shot on the afternoon of February 4th 2011. I was out here on vacation so I didn't know if the power was a common thing or not. What do they usually have for power?
@torchismoka news flash BNSF is the same company no matter if its in canda part or the USA. MOST of the SD60Ms are stored. and compared to the few thosand GEs they have , it is hard to find SD60Ms. their a rarity everywhere.
@BNSF9250 Hey ,brother..no need to "news flash" me. I am not on the attack. Just appreciating a good catch. thats all,and yes, I'm fully aware of the fact that BNSF is one company. I never said otherwise. Cheers.
we don't see too many here in Colorado either, I think they run better down south, at least that's where the UP is keeping most of theirs

@BNSF9250 But you must understand that in British Columbia its refreshing to see non GE power . SD 60 units are a rarity here these days.
