@nomae62 Hello Nomae, I agree it would be much better with the front to the skimmer hidden. We hide all skimmer faces in all of our installations now. You won't see that in any future projects! Good observation and suggestion.
hi.. do you have an idea on how to seal a glass on a cement? i mean.. what sealant should i use.. im building a pond and that's my only problem.. thanks.. :)
Arteom, I have been installing ponds for about 15 years now. I have installed more ponds than I can count, so far in 2009 I've put in about 25 ponds. I work with natural ponds as well. Indoor ponds, outdoor, constructed, natural, naturalized, farm ponds, fire ponds, retention and detention basins too, not too mention water features, fountains, etc. I have only been producing videos from my installs over last 2 years, I do not make videos of all of them, just projects I think are interesting.
Yeah, and still building. we are working on a Rainwater Harvesting system right now, it shold be done by Thursday. I am going to be creating a video of this project too. there is a bit of lag time betweeen project and posting of the vid, but it will be up!
Hey Oscar, we actually do not use UV on any of our installs, we keep our ponds clear naturally through filters, gravel, and aquatic plants. UV filtration only hides an existing problem green water means a pond is out of balance and needs to be corrected and typically it is problem with filtration/ The green tinge in this video was just a temporary conditon, but you can see that the water is actually very clear.
Great pond mike. A real doosey ! I would have seen it sooner but i was busy catching up @loveyourpond on twitter

I think it would look better if you hid the filter box. Build rock up in front of it

so underlayer is the pond liner right so the only material we use is the pond liner
sajeevan1 2 years ago
No, I usually use a heavy duty felt underlayment and then the liner is installed on top of the underlayment.
