  • Thank you! You're lovely and this video is great.

  • The Orange juice won't go bad?

  • 1:04 the way she’s saying the word ’’good’’ O_o

  • Wouldn't it be easier to just BUY a hand lotion.

  • is this real?? i mean does it last 4 long?!

  • This video was too short. Not sure why OJ was added. There are some essential steps missing to make a lotion. You may be able to whip a creamy butter. But not so sure about a lotion. Should have shown the consistency of the product at the end.

  • What is this products shelf life?

  • Lotion is an emulsion in which you bind oils and water together. There is no emulsifier in this recipe, this is not lotion.

  • You are adorable! Thank you for the great recipe.

  • Half a decade?? Why not just say 5 years....?

  • @NaomiChambers that's what I said

  • @cdnbrowngirl

    half a decade seems pretentious

    5 years is real

  • well, once i refrigerate this cream turns hard and when i keep it in room temperature the juice separates from the butter. this looks bad. pls suggest how can this look consistent ?

  • hi, I just found your videos and I love them !!!! could I use glycerin as a preservative?

  • @Neudahl glycerine is not a preservative

  • Can you replace the olive oil with extra virgin.

  • @TwinzOfOMG yes, even better.

  • @kaunas88 Thank you!

  • I can make homemade hand lotion too! All it takes is a little elbow grease. ;)

  • how is this lotion? It's an oil blend, which is cool, but is not lotion.

  • what would i do if i wanted to use a different essential oil...will i still use the orange juice?

  • @iloveyoucdrew : the orange juice is for the purpose of healing and providing vitamin C for the skin , and the orange essential oil is to enhance the taste .... but i recommend trying the different combinations , it's up to you to choose the best final taste of the lotion .

  • im going to use it on toast.

  • I HAVE A REALLY IMPORTANT QUESTION!!!:

--Can it still work if i replace the cocoa butter with almond oil?

    PLEASE ANSWER ITS URGENT!!!

  • @Tangipony : i think it will work

  • Comment removed

  • It is an antioxidant that helps to protect the skin from the harmful action of free radicals, delaying aging skin.

  • wheatgerm is also a great preservative as it is the richest oil containing vit e. Also you can use grapefruit essence or lemon.

    :)

  • @bodygourmet none of these are preservatives

  • "for over a half a decade" lol.... that was hilariously worded

  • @Solimariabella yeah is that like 5 years and 3 days???? lol

  • shouldn't we use biological stuff?u know the stuff from the factory i mean will it be this good?i don't trust products from super market

  • can you use throughly melted shea butter

  • her homemade recipe calls for cocoa butter? so why add the extra and have to wait. she should label it how to make your lotion scented...

  • will it go bad ?

do i have to put the lotiong in the fridge?

can you show us how to make a lotion with out the oj in it please?

what is the oj for ?

  • im just guessing but the oj is prob for preservation aside from the obvious good traits

  • @1dread2dread thats what i was thinking. since o.j. contain citric acid which is a known preservative.

  • yay great thanks for the tips!!!!!!!

  • will this need to be fridgerated??

  • Whenever you mix oil and a water-based ingredient together, it is best to refrigerate it, unless you add a preservative.

  • yes, she state to put it in the refrigerator. I say whipped it, because it you whip it you will have a more creamy effect.

  • @raindrop1982 Vitamin E is a preservative you could pierce a few capsules and add it to your recipe.

  • using oj means you would have to make very little at a time, and keep it in the fridge, right?

  • Check the expiration date of the orange juice and try to use the lotion before that date. I imagine you have to keep it in the fridge though. It doesn't seem like a handy onthego lotion, but maybe just a household thing.

  • thats cool

  • when putting orange juice in it does it have a exp date and if i use fresh fruit what would be the longest i can have and used it
