wow, this ad really brings back a dim memory of my childhood. im 51 now and i have always thought of this commercial when ever i hear some one say the words, platinum blonde.

"Midnight Brown" is Joanna Cameron, who starred in "The Secrets of Isis," a Saturday morning kids' show in the 70s, that for obvious reasons, had a big following with dads as well.

This one predates the ads I remember (which were the ones with the "For Brunettes Only" jingle of the other spot) but this is still a great one! I am pretty sure the brunette at the 12 second mark who says "midnight brown" is Joanna Cameron, later the star of the Saturday morning live-action show "Isis."
