If she was pregnant at 11, something was very wrong wrong at home. She's obviously not had adequate counseling and help in acquiring the tools for parenting. So now she's desperate, believing the best option for her is to become a stripper. Why is it that the government can covertly use money for the rich, yet not help the poor who need to learn the right tools for parenting. In giving welfare assistance, they should also be required to learn parenting skills.

In my opinion, you have to start with the mothers, help them to look after their children properly. Help them to adress their own issues with their childhood.

A good friend of mine was in a situation similar to this; she grew up with her mother and her mother's abusive boyfriend. She then went on to bring up her son, with her abusive boyfriend. I think that they way to stop it is to start with the parents.

those who become single mothers are more often the result of this cycle. there was no nurturing in the formative years and attachment was also an issue. they wish to have children so they will be loved by the said children. areas which become affected include parentificatin of the child, needs and responsibilities of the mother/father and social relationships of the mother also. so, the question is, how do we keep young females from wanting to get pregnant???
