  • I recall the light on the giant Ashcrafts (Core-Lite and Super Cinex) and 5,000 w xenon was definately a better light. Too many drive-ins use small xenons of 2 - 3k. You will always go backwards compared to big carbons with those. Thanks for watching.

  • XENNON LIGHT IS OK...BUT IN BRIGHT MOONLIGHT THE THE PICTURE IS AWFULL, THEN YOU HAVE TO USE GOOD OLD FASHIONED CARBON.

  • Very Cool.

Never seen a projector actually doing it's thing. Very interesting!

Can you do a video of it being loaded please?

    Thanks

  • I'd love to live in a country where there are drive-in theatres... :-(

  • Well.. how cool is this?? Thanks! Now I'm wondering very seriously if we even have any 70 mm projectors in any drive-in, anymore, in the United States.

  • Doubtful. Most movies are made in 35mm today. I think 70 mm might be for Imax.
