Just saw him today at Bristol Rhythm and Roots and he was just awe inspiring good. He played his entire set to a crowd that was in the palm of his hand and he took us on a journey that only the true musicians can do. Has a new disc coming out early next year and it is going to be something special!

I first discovered Darrell Scott years ago being played on WDVX, Knoxville Internet radio. He does a wonderful cover of "Any World That I'm Welcome To." I actually bought the CD. Haven't kept up with him lately; my bad. This is beautiful. I love the "Blackbird" quote at the end to acknowledge the source of inspiration for the progression; the lyrics are powerful. Darrell Scott FTW!
