  • i met alyssa she is so nice

  • In Aug.2006 My family had the opportunity to go to GKTW and It was the best experince we have ever had. For about a week we were able to almost forget there was a thing as Methylmalonic Acidemia and focus on just beeing a family again. It was indeed priceless. Thanks GKTW and the Make a wish Foundation.

  • Looks like a lot of GKTW is visually stimulating---Im glad your son got to experience it....and Im glad YOU did too. Sometimes things like this might be more for the parents, than for the child.

  • GKTW is, for the most part, a great place for most families dealing with life-threatening illnesses. However, my son's experience of GKTW in 2009 was that it is neither Autism-friendly nor Myasthenia Gravis-friendly.

Thank goodness my son is the sort of child who constantly tries to make the best of a bad situation as his Dream Wish became anything but his Dream Wish.

Perhaps there are Autism Advocates and MG Advocates who would like to volunteer some of their time to improve GKTW.
