@21mattb15 It's just called a tail press. The type of board he's riding is a Hyperlite Roam, it's a special flex board, meant for hitting rails or just messing around. The flex allows you to do nose presses on rails, or out in the flats when the boat is turning around. Now all the major companies are incorporating flex technology into their regular boards, so that you can hit rails and do presses, but still get good pop behind the boat b/c they still have a rocker like traditional boards.

@wakeboardlover23 start trying 180s first and once you've got them either go with a 360, a tantrum, a back roll or a front roll

if you go front roll make sure you have your toe side jumps really good

@wakeboardlover23 you don't wanna use the rope at a low angle because it keeps the tension off the rope, which the tension is what you need to slinshot you into the air off the wake, if anything, you need to have a highpole in the center of the boat to help keep that line tight. if you use the d-ring or a low center for the rope to work from, you'll have too much slack in the rope, so tying off up high is a lot better, plus less frustrating.

@wakeboardlover23 it's possible, but you're a lot more likely to wind up crashin' than stickin' your landings cuz u'll come up short on the rotation & pow, head first into the water, due 2 havin' a lot of slack in the rope & no fulcrum point which is what creates the line tension up high rather than a lower towpoint, watch a couple of other vids where the rider does a tantrum & u'll c what I mean. 3's ain 180's will work at a lower towpoint but not as well as they would @ a higher towpoint.

@bdog112494 yeah, they always give the guys a few runs at trying out the new model, most of the riders love to use the roam board since it's so slick and smooth on the bottom. no fins, no channels, no center fins, and pretty flexy to boot, perfect for rail jibs and sesh's.

@mp14mp14 yeah in this vid he's usin a roam board for his tail press, but if you watch the vid from kelvinhen (the clip is from the vid SNAFU) he does a tail and nose press on it. it's mainly getting the speed up to do it and then shifting the weight to which ever edge you're trying to hit, Murray mostly does it from an ollie though from what I've seen.
