This is pretty dreadful stuff. Why are music and bands in the UK like this getting a platform in the media as good music and good jazz music when it is niether?

The sax playing is terrible. Sounds like an average classical sax player who has a basic grasp of some elements of improvisation.

Why in this country is mediocrity so rewarded?

...because they invested on a very expensive hang drum and therefore became cool. The playing from ALL of them is indeed horrible. It is an insult for jazz musicians that study for many years. The drummer cannot even keep the bar! :)

BTW is it possible to do the chords (perhaps partially, maybe using bass to cover the roots) to Take Five - Ebm Bbm7, on hang? Would be an interesting cover!

Great stuff guys, indeed a certain Mr Jack Wyllie's sax playing just gets better and better! Must have been a lot of pressure that night!
