I think Lewa's power is pretty much the most useless. He can just hover above the ground, not much more than a few feet. I mean seriously, that's bullshit. Tahu can deflect attacks, Gali can breathe underwater indefinetly, Kopaka can freeze objects...But Lewa hovers? Come the fuck on.

@Ryuurik Lewa can do a LOT more than just hover. But if you're talking about MASK powers, as Tahu deflecting and Gali breathing underwater are their mask powers, then I'd have to say Kopaka is the weakest, as his mask power is X-Ray Vision.

I will never forget the christmas I got all 6 of these. After that I collected a few generations. The Metru Nui was too much for me, and even though I was about 10 years old, I could clearly see that they were just milking the series for all it's worth.

I haven't sold any of my bionicles though, and after seeing this... I think I'm going to dust off some of them. It's already late, but hey, I can just play with them all night long, just like I did back in the years. :)

Well actually, why should a robot be living and digging underground? does he has the purpose for eating insects he can find only under the surface?

Why does tahu get first himself into trouble, by breaking the rock, and then saves himself by riding a rock that should sink in fluid lava? it has no purpose but being awesome.

And, why does the green one jump around? a monkey does so in order to get some food. I guess they live either on solar power, or some misterious power.

in Ta-Koro, it's common for Ta-Matoran to go lava surfing after their work. Tahu clearly enjoys that. ;)

And Lewa...well he's a Toa of Air. Toa of Air like tree-speak and jumping around. He literally can't stand still for more than two minutes. It's pure enjoyment for him.

I don't know anything about what they eat other than Bula Berries...and Bionicles drink water. :D

I found in a toy store today 2nd hand Toa Mata! They were £1.50 each which is amazing. I bought five, as sadly they didnt have Onua. Also bought 4 Borhok and 2 Toa Nuva. All £1.50 each! Great video by the way.

The old Bionicles had a quality that the newer ones never had. The old ones you could spin gears to move arms (or in Pohatu's case, legs). But now, you have to bend every single piece to move the newer ones. Although the Bionicle Stars' Tahu and Takanuva are different still, I'm glad how the have the same mask and name

When I was small, my mom bought me these guys. As I grew older, I noticed that even the Bionicle grew taller and larger. It's like I grew up with Bionicle growing up by my side.

I've stopped collecting them now. I hope the new generation of Bionicle lovers will learn of the Toa Mata and the huge story they had.

Yep.

Sadly, now the whole concept, the whole artwork, and the whole white, red, green, blue, black, brown theme was ripped off by Hero Factory. People will think Hero Factory is so cool not knowing there was a similar set of bio-mechanical creatures who once gave us all a great story to experience. Such an awesome story - especially when you think about the early times when Bionicle was so primitive.
