Rollins dated 'D.J.B.', and was getting VERY popular at this time...headlining the first Lallapalooza when "The End Of Silence' was released in 1991. The guy was even doing GAP ads in Rolling Stone.
Where do you come up with the idea that this was a rip on Henry Rollins? I'd say it's a rip on the plastic MTV personalities like D.J.B. When Page wrote this, Rollins was still largely unknown, and had nothing to do with MTV.
