i love you...i will always be your number 1 fan.....if you can read this message...i want you to know how much i admire you....i'm Lian from philippines....i will always miss you Mr. Sidney.
@tsintsin4287 i loved his work too!i actually once saved$ to buy "the windmill of the gods" on hardcover since i could not wait 4 the paperback to come out!i pretended to be sick on school hours just to go to the nurse´s room to lay down and read my copy of"bloodline" in peace!!i could not wait to get home to read it!as for i dream of jeanny..what girl did not drem of being her!?
i saw the movie bloodline and frankly it did not do the book justice...it is almost always like that...
Sheldon is sub-literature. He's books are very badly written and too often commercial. Everybody that is giving him compliments should try some Bukowski or perhaps Roberto Bolaño, or even better, Dostoievksi
I loved his thrilling & exciting books. I remember I had some sleepless nights because once I started to open his book, I could not close it. Also, his books really helped me a lot to improve my English ability*^-^* It's a very pity that we cannot look forward to his new ones. legendary novelist, R.I.P.
well I think I'm too young(14) to read Mr. Sheldon's book but once when I started reading his books, the first one being If Tomorrow Comes, I couldn't stop myself from reading his other books. He a genius writer, his imagination, thought process is beyond words. He makes the characters so lively that you cant help but imagine them as a real person. We all love him and I wish he were alive and I wish I could meet him. But unfortunately thats not possible. All I wanna say is RI.P. Sidney Sheldon
Of course, its the very first book I have read of Sidney Sheldon. Its a real page turner. Same goes to its sequal memories of midnight. I am satisfied with the ending.
Mr Sheldon has been and always will be my favorite author. I have and read all his books and have grown to admire and respect him as a person and a writer. As his biggest fan and the largest influence in my own writing, I hope he is at peace. I miss Mr Sheldon and his legacy will never, ever be forgotten.
OMG..i just started reading his books..really upset to know that he's gone..however,he had written many novels+i bet i can read it over and over again.. =)
Sidney was my greatest writer of all time... Its very difficult to put down his novel. his english is understandable... Im your Filipino fan... I love his The Other Side of me... a memoir...
Sidney Sheldon is the best novelist for me. His books are written that I couldn't really put it down! I have all his books in my shelf and I really took care of it, until now its as good as new. wow, I don't like to read stephen kings if I remember sheldon. He is the most brilliant author I ever known. The sands of time, master of the game, windmills of the god's and the rest are all masterpieces. If you are a book freak, you must collect all!!!
I been a big fan of him since i was in secondary...
after reading sands of time, no author is as good as him for me.....i was devastated hearing he passed away......feels like i lost somone close to my heart :(
he kept me company with his awssssooommmeee books 2yrs i was in prison the greatest writer of all time i love you S. SHELDON R.I.P. feb11th 1917----jan30th2007
I read all of Sidney Sheldon's books at least two times. I almost lost the interest of reading the minute I learnt of his passing. Sad for me as there will never be any more new books from him and he no longer available but I like him just the same. May he rest in peace.
Compare what he remembers here to "The Other Side Of Me", his 2005 memoir. In his TV scripts, he often used the names of his family and close friends- "Natalie Lane", "Martin Lane" and "Richard Harrison", named after his mother, stepfather and brother, on "THE PATTY DUKE SHOW" (he even used Richard and his wife Joan's names TWICE on "I DREAM OF JEANNIE"); frequent references to "Aunt Pauline" and "Miss Gordon"/"Frances Gordon", his aunts; "Ben Roberts", his old collaborator, etc.
The person interviewing sidney my fav author, sounds very rude.. he would have been more polite in talking to such a great man.
