actually i've head christians talking about evolution and the big bang. they don't ignore it. Islam is the nation's religions (by law), Sharia is practiced as an alternative legal system, conversion from Islam is done only at one's risk & their prime minister recently called for Muslims to unite against "Jews".

Funny thing is, what the Koran does, is update the Bible. Gets rid of some inconsistencies like the serpent/satan problem. Makes monotheism (which is a governmental system, by the way) accessible to another culture. Like a virus... nah, ain't that bad. A lot of nonsense&hatred on this page&video. The Big Bang is (for the West!)a so called THEORY/as opposed to FACT! Scientist worldwide are looking for proof for or against! Each within their abilities.
Islam&Science were never @ contradiction. For ex. learn about Embryology&Islam. If you want to understand instead of spreading hatred&ignorance. Watch: watch?v=ErDwPx27urE and get the big bang explanation from a professor - if you are not scared of the truth...and learn for your own good!

@salemarc121 science updates as new knowledge comes into light. for example it was once believed that the world was flat and thanks to the work of many scientists science updated. in regards to evolution, is a proven fact, so for that reason it is a theory, like the theory of gravity or germ theory.

You think that you are living without "god", but you are not! If you stepped back, you would see that science alone is just one piece in the puzzle, there is a much bigger picture. Believing in the "process" of scientific inquiry to further understanding of who, what, where, and how "we are" logically seems a superior path to knowledge. Also,I really don't think you can pin ancient flat earth belief on atheists. I am fairly sure it was the religious who were burning folks as heretics when they dared to challenge that belief.

As i wrote, my religion has no problem asking all these questions, but we know their answers are not the ultimate goal of our lives. So science is a well used path for us, if you just remember how the west got the basics of engineering, algebra, medicine, hygene&more..
btw, those who decided to burn and cruxify folks over a different belief while the earth was called flat, weren't Muslims, you might remember that...

@salemarc121 i never stated that science is infallible. is the religious who tend to think that way about their holy books. and when the world was thought to be flat and scientists proved the contrary, folks like YOU, basing your information on the bible, were the ones to object. yes, there are many things for which we have no explanation, but that doesn't mean that a god is the answer. science preffers to say it doesn't know, rather than make something up.

@allison8914 i don't rely on the bible. Bible is a man-made book, therefore full of mistakes. Science in the Christian past was submitted to the theologists, that's why all this occured. Still i insist, science is not the all embracing explanation for everything, as science has gone wrong many times and can only provide us with pieces of the puzzle "life", not with its' entity. What escapes science is our "free will to chose". Science has no sufficient theory on this.

If the Koran is a book of sorcery, as you suggest, then tell us whether the standard model is correct. Provide evidence for magical flying horses & that the black stone fell from heaven.
Provide some actual evidence or tools to the community, it will gain you respect in light of previous failed predictions about origins & Earth shape.

actually i've head christians talking about evolution and the big bang. they don't ignore it. Personally I think neither Creationists or evolutionists are completely right because no one was there. both are theories. religion is alright in small doses. it can help you find morals and meaning. nothing wrong with that. but looking at muslim doctrine it is a violent book which tells its followers to kill anyone that believes different. Its not just the radicals, its the book itself that tells them.
