I own this bike in black u gotta slip the clutch like mad to get them up takes time even fer this amount congrads .......highspeed try left foot on on the bitch peg that will get ya up the bring it back to a catwalk to shift ur gears good up to about 85ish oh yea start in 3rd gear watch out fer lane drift when u do it like this
i got a 2005 gs500f. I've never attempted to wheelie it cuz i dont want to drop it. However, I did race it at Jennings GP in florida. Passed some GSXR 1000's :D
@TristanBrankin Those GSXRs must have been parked cause that bike has no pep at all. I've owned mine a year and I barely have to hang on accelerating at full throttle.
@jeepinainteasy Maybe YOU don't know how to read. I was replying to TristanBrankin who said his GS500F passed GSXR 1000's at the track. I own a 2005 GS500F as well and they have NO PEP. I have drove a Gixxer 750, a Yamaha R6, a Katana GSX600, and a Sportster 1200 and all 4 would demolish any GS500F any time. So him saying he passed any GSXR (even the 600's) is extremely wrong, unless they weren't even racing. My Mustang passed a Viper once, I guess my Mustang's faster...
hi Bennjy, i'm only 17 so the bike is restricted to 25kw (gs on full power = 35kw or 48,... hp) There are no mods on the engine or the exhaust pipe whatsoever.
Hey dude i had a question im thinking of getting the same bike u have but i have a concern. since this bike is air cooled and not liquid cooled has it ever overheated on you? and i live close to el paso, texas, so its really hot over here in the summer and i was wondering if i should get this bike or a liquid cooled bike. THANX!!!
It never overheats with me, but I live in Belgium... :-) and I think the average temp of today was 11°c (or 52°F) and it's almost spring. And in the summer it's max 35°C (95°F) so I can't really say it won't overheat with you. I love the GS, but I think it's better to get a liquid cooling system if the temperatures get very high in your country.
Mesarectifier i live in el paso tx too and the GS500F is air and oil cooled... the E is the only thats only air cooled... i ride a 08 gs500f here in EPT and i love it man

@RapscallionStallion
You own a gixxer and don't know how to read. It's a GS with 1/3 the horses of your gixxer. Do you know what a gixxer is?

Any modifications? Is it restricted to 33bhp, or the standard 44bhp?

een STUK hoger en dan je achterrem laten slepen. anders lukt het nooit om een lange wheely te maken op die gs. succes!
