its interesting to see you take on this song because your not at all the type of voice that is usualy associated with it. however where some might say you are lacking in "soul power" that you would get with jennifer hudson or jennifer holliday you make up for it with the that purity in your voice that neither of those powerhouses really have and i think this is a great version of the song which is saying alot cause this is probably one of the most dificult songs to sing and sound beleiveable

I respect the artist in her, but the timing was little off. But I think that the recording she is singing to is going too fast for the actual song that we all know.
This however, truly is a huge song. I think you should have been able to choose your own song. Something in your style and preference. Country singers don't sing pop and the opposite is true. Either way, well done.

I watched this performance and that of your competitor. This is an extremely difficult song to sing vocally, as well this requires acting/performance skills, which you have. This wasn't a good song choice to put at the end of this long competition, but it's prob b/c Jennifer Hudson will be speaking with the winner. I have to say your performance was the better of the 2, both vocally and in conveying the emotions of the song. Great job!

I saw your lack of confidence in the very first few words, and the timing was off-ish. I know this is a very tough song to sing, and going up against Stephanie Price is no walk in the park.
I don't know if it was your timing, but it soudned off and breathy in the beginning, like you were pausing too often.
BUT, you have one of the best voices I have ever heard. But this song just wasn't your cup of tea, but very nice attempt, I still liked it! GOOD JOB!

Ignore all the pretentious prattle from some of these sef-proclaimed "experts". A great performance is a great performance. Given your youth and the fact that it is such a departure from the other songs you've done, it was brilliant. Bravo!

I respect the artist in her, but the timing was little off. But I think that the recording she is singing to is going too fast for the actual song that we all know.
This however, truly is a huge song. I think you should have been able to choose your own song. Something in your style and preference. Country singers don't sing pop and the opposite is true. Either way, well done.

I liked this because you didn't sing it exactly the way jennifer did. I think that is why jennifer did it so well because she didn't try to do it the same as jennifer holiday. She added her own flavor as did you. Good job.

I watched this performance and that of your competitor. This is an extremely difficult song to sing vocally, as well this requires acting/performance skills, which you have. This wasn't a good song choice to put at the end of this long competition, but it's prob b/c Jennifer Hudson will be speaking with the winner. I have to say your performance was the better of the 2, both vocally and in conveying the emotions of the song. Great job!

1. I am NOT deaf. I only said that her timing was off in the beginning. I give constructive criticism to all of the singers.
2. Yes, I'm a friend of penspeaks but I love EJ, she's so talented, and I would not mind voting for her in the finals, and if she wins, it will just be as good as penspeaks winning.
3. I don't bash talent. I was NOT bashing Elisha, so you should watch your words because a fight can be started quite easily.

I saw your lack of confidence in the very first few words, and the timing was off-ish. I know this is a very tough song to sing, and going up against Stephanie Price is no walk in the park.
I don't know if it was your timing, but it soudned off and breathy in the beginning, like you were pausing too often.
BUT, you have one of the best voices I have ever heard. But this song just wasn't your cup of tea, but very nice attempt, I still liked it! GOOD JOB!
