looks like a 2000 gt.. i own one.. it has a 24 valve V6 engine.. stock fed spec is 205 base hp, and cali spec is 200 stock hp

only way this car had a chance is the hp to weight ratio cuz the eclipse weighs 2800 pounds

for one.. eclipse's are not slow cars.

Ive had mine to 135 and it is stock. there is a video on my profile if you dont believe me, Eclipseinferno.. its almost impossible for someone to tell you how to get a good luanch because it varies by car, and clutch. I can launch my eclipse at 4500 rpm with no wheel spin and get to 60 in about 6.5 seconds.

either burn out before hand to get your wheels hot and grip. or rev your engine in to about 2.5k rpm. get your power band and then pop the clutch and go..asuming your car is manual.

u have to play with the amount of gas u give the car when u launch, and the speed at which u release the clutch until u minimize wheelspin, also u can buy aftermarket products that figure this shit out for u, they are called launch controllers. If u have automatic then u just play with the gas and it is much easier, but auto sux

I drive an eclipse its a 00 3g rs so only 4 cyl and its a good car, I mean luxury?? haha no but fast yes. it kills cars which cost 3-4 times as much and thats stock haha. Id like to see more of the opel, theyr rare in america but regardless nice driving from both cars ten points!!!!

if your talking about a turbocharger then i can tell u that...turbochargers and superchargers go in ur engine and they force more air into ur cylinders. basically on average a 60% horsepower increase and better gas mileage. in America they can run anywhere from 2000 to 4500 ish dollars depending on the quality

ha i got a VERY good deal on my eclipse. its a 2000 eclipse. it had 60,000 miles and i got it for only 2,500 it looked brand new. but i like the older ones better like a 99 98 97 96 95 eclipse are the older ones better then the 2000 eclipse's?

it depends. the older ones had the turbo option but they were 4 cylinders. the newer ones ditched the turbo for the 6 cylinder. so wichever you prefer

yeah. the turbo put out 210 hp. when the 6 cylinder put up 205. ut if moneys not a issue, go with the 6 cylinder, then get it upgraded with a turbo. wont pay more than 5000 after everything.

GT on Opel isn't sign for force. So (this Vectra A) has Edition V6 which is much stronger and faster. Or version 2000 16 v 4x4 which is very good and fast car. GT is something like equipment package (aloy wheels, sports seats, fog lights).This car is fast, but not that fast!
