I was in Vietnamese national math team, doing awesome in math and physics. i don't see conflict between God and science. pure logical and critical thinking is emptiness.

It's also said that in the bible ( the bible itself is God's evidence. it is not religion) I see connection between events in the bible and the world as it is today and from my experience I know that the bible is true. that's all I want to say. thanks for reading. After a killing spree of humans something changed. Large tusks didn't insure safety anymore. Strangely since than they don't grow as big anymore like they used 2 even adult males on full-grown age. People have to understand, that in today's society people only like God and religion when its to their advantage, if they truly believed what they preach then they would forgive our "attackers" and get on with their lives, they wouldn't be so willing to kill women and children and destroy whole countries, people only believe in what they want to believe now, "Saying I like Ron Paul, except on foreign policy" is like saying, "I like Jesus, except on love thy neighbor".

@napamike Isreal is developed, has a a large military and nuclear weapons. Iran is still considered a third world country with an unorganized military and no nuclear weapons. Iran doesn't have anything near the capability to be a threat to Isreal, nor would they ever act on it. Last, we (USA), among other countries are the ones not being friends with Iran through our sanctions, not the other way around. We will, however, feel the consequence of this policy through gas prices.

@napamike Again, Iran doesn't have the capability to wipe Isreal off the map regardless of what their political leaders say. More realistically, Isreal could wipe Iran off the map without the help of any allies. Interestingly, Iran experiences gas shortages quite often. Enrichment programs are used for two things, you chose to ignore one of the options probably because our political leaders vow to to take over Iran militarily, but need your support first in order to do so. Even if They had a nuke, they have no way of even getting it to us and Israel has their own nukes so for Iran to attack them would mean certain doom for Iran. As for the U.S. , for them to attack us they would have to sneak it in the country and you know what would help defend against that? If we had the troops home to guard the countries borders. All these points are moot because theres no evidence that they even have nuke anyway.

-Romney has straw poll lead in SC (is #43 in the number of delegates it has, and only gets half their delegates because of a penalty.)

There's the one issue of booing the golden rule, but you have to remember something about these neocons. They believe that 9/11 was completely unprovoked, that America is good, and that it's in their strategic and national security interest to be overseas. Plus, this goes back to the British Empire. The Brits used to rationalize their empire by saying they were civilizing savages around the world. Here there's much more of a religious undertone. Americans believe they're God's chosen people.

@surfer53 - I was always taught that was what the British Empire done as well, but the truth is our country put in an authoritarian system in these countries by way of divide and rule. We pitted the tribes against one another and then came up with the solution to their problem, let us rebuild your country our way....
