  • Beautiful Beautiful man. As well from the inside as from the outside !!

  • "Paul Simonon, ex miembro de The Clash, se une al barco de Greenpeace Rainbow Warrior, como miembro de la tripulación, ocultando su identidad y ocupando el puesto de ayudante de cocina"

  • As a huge Clash fan since 77 always loved Simmo anyway, but he has now gone up 1000 times in my estimation for doing this.

  • I wish Damon would stop walking around in a leather jacket, banging on about greenpeace. Whats peaceful about wearing the skin of a slaughtered animal?

  • Easily the coolest looking bassist ever.

    Ever.

And now the most politcally awesome.

  • I really hope he was dressed in his Gorillaz captains outfit when he was on the boat.

  • Lol.... Paul Simonon probably sang this while doing time...

"I fought the law and the... law won..."

My deepest admiration for his courage and determination... =)

  • i really appreciate how green peace is trying to help us all out..i remember seeing that very boat at port moresby in papua new guinea where i lived as a kid while skiing illegally around haha..it was massive..

  • was that the whole crowd at 4:36 ? :P

  • Solidarity dude.

  • Viva Greenpeace!

  • Paul Simonon, you're a badass legend, no doubt. Keep up the excellent work.

  • Yeah...!!! You guys rule, ...set this world right and rock on to the next generation. Loved it.

  • Real heros

  • :D

  • Rock Lobster!

  • Could Paul Simonon BE any cooler?

  • @iwantcompletecontrol No. He could not. I'd even challenge Hughey Morgan to out-cool Paul. He'd fail. Damon keeps going up in my estimation too.

  • @iwantcompletecontrol in greenland ? i doubt it !

  • Greenpeace activists are the true rockstars!!!!

  • I couldn't put it better; Joe Strummer would be proud.

  • Paul Simonon, like you didn't have already enough respect from me! That's absolutely great! It's always good to remember how awesome people can be. Thanks, hope this will also help more people get involve in this things. :D

  • Great! Congratulations for your involvement. I wished more musicians and artists were involved like you are. This surely would make our humane world a better world... Hopefully more will follow your example!

  • Also, people like him make things a bit simpler to achieve ( a very little bit, but it still counts =)

I have some friends who are artists, and they like what I have to say. I'm pretty sure our roads will cross one day. I know you think I'm a cook or just an unknown, but I don't have the choice, my goal and what I swore is UFO Disclosure and once it happens, things will be easier for you too after. I don't want a sponsoring or asking for your help, I'm just telling it to you =) Have a good day.

  • I'm sure it was cool and good to be there. Have good day =)

  • whaaaa whats the song called, anybody knows??

  • @Zdzarveli

    History Song.

  • Paul Simonon is a god!

  • Joe Strummer would be proud!

  • punk's not dead!!! yay!!

  • Awesome.

  • You guys need to work with SeaShepherd! I am for SeaShepherd but if you guys work with each other you would both change the world! 2 is better then 1!

  • @TheArubastar Sea Shepherd's leader used to be with Greenpeace, but he split off because he wanted more aggressive intervention (see Wikipedia)

  • @TheArubastar Greenpeace will never work with those that support violence. They know only Love will change this world. Paul Watson describes himself a police unit, both judge and jury. He has done many dangerous things, risking the lives of others. He also does everything in his power to discredit Greenpeace. Knowing that Greenpeace has thousands of people all over the globe commited to our ecology and justice, through peaceful means. What kind of a man would try to destroy that effort

  • @wesseavey p.s. He doesn't want to join Greenpeace, he want to set their policy. It's not going to happen...

  • @TheArubastar Sea Shepherd is what it is. However, Greenpeace does not work like that. That's why Shep went his own way. He is admirable, in some respects, but only activism based on peace and love can ever be wholly credible. Shep negates Greenpeace on a regular basis. That is unprofessional, and just a tad childish. The ethic behind what Greenpeace stands for is given away in the name. Sea Shepherd just does not fit.

  • @ginnikipper Nice post indeed, ...thanks!!! Let's hope Paul finds a better reason to come home someday

  • @wesseavey No. Let's hope he eventually realises that he will never get support from ordinary people until he renounces aggresson and violence, and it's ordinary people that change the world. Greenpeace needs people with courage like his, but would soon be disregarded by millions of people the world-over if they suddenly started ramming ships and endangering other people's lives. The Sea Shepherd may have inflicted damage on a whaling vessel or two, but only peaceful action will damage them all.

  • @ginnikipper Thanks very much. It's good to know there are people like you that know Love for others, and for our ecology is the only thing that can bring light to our eyes and really change this world. Wishing you Love and light always...

  • @ginnikipper Are you vegan?
