I didn't. you can't change the length of the antenna. I upgraded to a 2.4 Ghz receiver which has a shorter antenna.

Any of the traxxas electric trucks are great for starting out. They all have something called "trainer mode" This cuts the power in half so that you can get used to driving without being afraid of wrecking. Then when you feel confident, you can turn training mode off and get full power.

those gyroscopic wheels are spinning ALOT!! faster that 50-60mph, all the brushless power is focused on the outside tires, and ball bearings in side the front and rear diffs, rather than all four tires, a simple way to prove everything i just said is to spin all four wheels, then put 2 wheels on the ground, then spin'um agian, and from there it is pritty clear to see how much more power is transfured fron 2 wheels to four :)

Well, the rustler vxl's claim to fame is speed. It's a 2wd truck, so it's not so good in snow, ice, mud, etc. For that kind of stuff you need 4wd.

@Killer91109 i currently own a rustler and it's a fun little car. like u we're saying i wouldn't say the rustler is the best car for snow but it's fun if u can get a little speed up and go through. The same goes with ice with ice it's a blast but it might not turn around or speed up as fast as u might like,but it's still fun. It's not the best for ice or snow but for summer it's a blast so i hope this helped.

i say the 1/16 scale is like a freakin deamon with all the power it has but since it has low ground clearence it does not do well in tall grass, now the e-revo vxl 1/10 is the best of both the 1/16 e-revo and the rustler vxl because the 1/10 is a basher with high speeds, now the rustler vxl is pretty much raw SPEED as im sure you know the lipo battery in the rustler will get it to do that 70 mph also with upgraded tires on the rustler it will be a good off roader also pretty much unstopable.

depends what you want more. the 1/16th revo is way too small to really do good on longer grass etc so i wouldnt take it seriously. the e revo brushless edition is awesome!!!!!!!!!! perfect for jumping off road madness etc ya no due to massive wheels and perfect suspension. the rustler vxl is basicaly a mix i think personaly its the way i went. i have a rustler vxl its perfect for onroad speed runs and great off road unless grass is too long

Every car you said is different, rustler is 2wd so you cant go where mini revo or revo 1/10 goes. so rustler = speed on a straight line. mini revo = you can run on everything but really big grass. revo 1/10 goes anywhere ... with the proper gearing any car goes faster than others
