Totally agreed on everything you said. The root cause of this yob culture, is kids can't be disciplined. No discipline in school, no discipline in the home, , and no discipline on the streets. Kids can literally do exactly what they want, and get away with absolutely everything, And they know it. You hear of some of these scum being arrested over 60 times for the same thing, and STILL no firm action is taken against them, and it's easy to see why this problem is a vicious cycle.

Restorative justice may be a possibility in which the formal court process is excluded. Bring in sentencing circles, mediators and leave legal jargon out of it.

An ASBO is a badge of honour, you get cool points in chavworld if you get one and cuz of that I think that some chavs actually behave worse just to get one and show off. So now we have chavs deliberately commiting crimes to recieve an ASBO which is supposed to stop them commiting crimes!!!

Living in the U.S. the police system is much different than the way you describe it is in England.
There's still lots of crime, don't get me wrong, but there's not a core group (ie: chavs) out to terrorize. And if there were, there would be a SWAT team on them ASAP.

Hey good video, Jordan. I agree man, the ASBO system is one of the best things Tony Blair ever did. Even though there's still millions of chavs out there who genuinely deserve one but it has not reached them yet. I mean, I knew of some mates of mine; good guys - not chavs, not violent, just liked to have a laugh, maybe a bit loud, and some of them recieved ASBO's for 'Disturbing the peace', whilst on the other side of town chavs as young as eight were breaking into cars smoking marjuana. Vile.
Just to clarify my belief on the fact that ASBO's aren't enough. The government are still half-asleep, they don't know what it's like to loose a family member due to suicide over chavs being the pr*cks that they are.
It's only going to get worse if the government doesn't start to take firm action. I'm lower class so I would probably be receiving the same harassment. my friend has been arested 20+ times.
he has been to court 10+ times.
he has been cought by the police with Drugs ( Es )
he has been arested for asault got know how many times... he has been arested for theift loads of times.
he has still not got one ASBO!!

These people dont just behave like that on the streets, they do it in my school to, it is literally crazy.. year 7's just terrorize everyone including teachers and year 11's! i was shit scared of year 11's when i was in year 7 :\ teachers are literally at breaking point

An ASBO is a badge of honour, you get cool points in chavworld if you get one and cuz of that I think that some chavs actually behave worse just to get one and show off. So now we have chavs deliberately commiting crimes to recieve an ASBO which is supposed to stop them commiting crimes!!!

I've said before, I don't live in England, but I never really knew the situation at hand was this bad...
Living in the U.S. the police system is much different than the way you describe it is in England.
There's still lots of crime, don't get me wrong, but there's not a core group (ie: chavs) out to terrorize. And if there were, there would be a SWAT team on them ASAP.

haha, yes they would definitely go to jail if caught. evidence is hard to cover or hide in situations like that.
and even then they'd get charged with several different things (disturbance of the peace, harassment, violation of private property, so on...) the more specific the crime, the more time they have in jail.
and if you murder someone?
oh, that' s life in jail or death penalty, easy.
some states (i think it's texas, could be wrong however) still use the electric chair.

about the mother who killed herself and her daughter. her daughter was i think mentally disabled and she and her daughter just got abused everyday and just couldnt live with the abuse they were getting from these people.

Just one grenade. Just the one could sort out so many problems.... :) No we shouldn't be that serious but something needs to be done. My area is not that bad compared to some but it could be better. There is a drug dealer near my house and things like that but is that ok? It seems that it now is. I don't think being a vigilante is that good an idea though.I think you should at least be able to protect your own property.

So if there really is such a big problem with them, carry a gun, a knife, or some kind of weapon for protection. And since your justice system sucks you won't have to worry about getting in too much trouble for carrying something for protection. It's really bad that you guys have to worry about such things. Personally I think that if that happened where I live, I would walk out of my house with a shotgun in my hand telling them to get the fuck out!

Respectable people with Jobs, attending college/uni etc, are the most likely people in this country to be prosecuted.
The police and the justice system is scared of these people. The amount of times you see in the news, respectable people in prison for fighting back agains't these people is unreal.

i agree with you completely on everything you've said here - I've always said that the police, judges, council and government keep creating new laws to 'combat' crime or reduce gang culture or whatever, every single one of which does nothing. They all live in their own little fantasy land and even when they get advice from people who know what they're talking about put forward ideas, they just completely ignore them because they're obviously so much more superior to them :S

First chavs are scum, were i live there was a muder around about a year ago were a man was stabbed by a group of chavs sadly he died the chavs beat each other up and then said it was self defence the max sentence that was given was 4-9 years the others got less and some only got an ASBO, the coranner said that he`d never seen a more brutal knife victim that have been stabbed to death this horrificly in the hole of his career. WE ARNT THE ONES BEING PROTECTED BY THE LAW THE CHAVS ARE!

Hey good video, Jordan. I agree man, the ASBO system is one of the best things Tony Blair ever did. Even though there's still millions of chavs out there who genuinely deserve one but it has not reached them yet. I mean, I knew of some mates of mine; good guys - not chavs, not violent, just liked to have a laugh, maybe a bit loud, and some of them recieved ASBO's for 'Disturbing the peace', whilst on the other side of town chavs as young as eight were breaking into cars smoking marjuana. It's only going to get worse if the government doesn't start to take firm action. I'm lower class so I would probably be receiving the same harassment. They need to start building bigger prisons and start locking these little bastards up because they know they can get away with the chaos they're causing. They need to be shown that you can't throw a brick at someone and just walk away like nothing happened.

@BrokenFish England as a whole is getting better, with less crime rates and such but problems are rising such as more extreme crimes and prisons getting full this will soon start to cause england some issues but its not always that bad.
I live near some VERY tough areas, where my dads customer works there was a stabbing on there front door step, but it wasnt unusual it was normal...

I agree with you, however there should be a limit if you do this ... you will get a asbo etc but its not you break somebody's window on purpose then you could get a asbo, but if your just playing football and you smash a window by accident you will get a asbo, so there should be a limit between what you do and what punishment you get, why can 1 person get a asbo for smashing a window whie another gets a day of community service?
