Not too sure why this 2-year-old video is suddenly getting all these views. My folks recorded it and I just put it up so they could share it with their friends. For what it's worth I just guessed it was a ukulele; it could well be a mandolin.
@mralexjmartin Chill out would you, I was merely speculating. On the planet I'm from, a huge percentage of old Jap import cars in NZ still have Jap spec radios, which only pick up the bottom two FM stations. And many people, including myself and perhaps the guy above, can't be bothered getting a new one or a band expander. If music means that much to you, how about you quit trolling and get me a new stereo...
@mralexjmartin Actually alot of the jap radios in imports don't have decent radios...speaking as someone who had a jap import and had to buy a new stero to get anything decent...
@mralexjmartin Just checked Wikipedia: Japan uses the 76-90 MHz band for FM radio, whereas everyone else uses 88-108 MHz. Which is why thekiwicanuck says below that they can only pick up the bottom two stations; they must be in the narrow 88-90 MHz range where the two standards overlap.

Jap import car - the radios don't pick up NZ FM stations so you gotta make your own music! I usually just drum on the steering wheel...

@thekiwicanuck are you serious they do pick up fm stations!! What planet are you from it's called a new stereo
