  • OK, since all of you are completely blind to the fact this was made and written TWO FUCKING YEARS AGO, I've gone back and fixed it all. Happy now?

  • maybe 4 your next japanese lessons u should put subtitles

  • Your pronunciations are great! O.O I lost my ability to speak with a good accent a bit ago. My diction's pretty bad now. ;.; *fell out of practice* Thank you for posting these lessons, maybe I can finally get it back. Good luck with your trip to Japan.^^

  • Your Japanese is excellent, I cannot believe you've never been to Japan. I'm Japanese now learning English, and I wish I had a beautiful, sexy English teacher like you.

  • for how are you doing, you could also say

    "gokiganikaga desu ka?

  • How do you say what is your name and Whats your name?

  • How do you say what is your name and whats your name in Japanese?

  • ... those two phrases are exactly the same. We just have compounds...

"anata no namae wa nan desu ka?" or if someone just asked you your name or you just stated your name, you can respond with "anata wa" which is just the shortened version of the above phrase. If you place it where it should go, they'll understand your meaning.

  • the easiest way which i use in japan is

    "anata wa namae desu ka?"

  • @xHSMRaVeBoYx

you usually say: anata wa O-namae ....

    because it is more gentle

  • anata wa namae desu ka?

    what is your name?

  • 日本語上手ですね!

  • I recommend you to pronounce "zo" like "Though".

But,your Japanese is really good! Keep going!

  • How long have you been speaking Japanese ? Have you ever been to Japan ?

  • I've been taking an official online class since June, but I've been on-and-off teaching myself for over four years now. And I've never been do Japan, though I plan on going either with my boyfriend and dad in 2010 for a weekend, my junior year in college (for sure) or both.

  • Hey, Kate, nice job, very commendable, but your どうぞよろしく (douzo yoroshiku) is off: you said どうず (douzu).

Somebody else pointed it out but their correction (どぞう) is wrong too!

  • how do you say ( sex please) lmao

  • look it up for yourself. if i don't teach it and it's a single phrase, you're perfectly capable of looking it up on your own.

  • You have good pronounciation! :D

  • ^^ ditto

  • um, kate? in hiragana, the particle "wa" (i.e. watashi WA) is written using the character for "ha" (は), not the actual wa (わ).

  • Yeah, I learned that later. I'm too much of a lazy fuck to actually go back and edit it all right now. Maybe later on in life if I feel up to it. =/ Thanks for reminding me, though.

  • You are so good!!

  • oh my God Kate, you're so cute when you speak Japanese. :3

  • it's "どぞう よろしく" not "どず よろしく"

  • thats cool.. i like watching ppl interested in languages... because they want to be a better person each day (talking about knowledge).... good luck with ur idea of been an english teacher
