the color is straight from tbe without mixing therefore looks flat and uninteresting. there are no subtle nuances and grey colour. Also brushwork should go in different directions rather than all same direction ,again no interest in texture. Look at Turners subtle nuances and spontaneous brushwork and Andrew Wyeth. You will not learn much from this. No diagonals that is what i was taught by internationally renowned abstract painter.
Hi tanks for tour comment. Colors stays bright so fare with good pigment and good paper ( acid free ) if you want to see the final aspect of this art work go to my website or google me on picasa web .
i wonder if outcome of (good) painting lost brightness and why the artist doesn't complete the artwork with his e-public ( a watercolourist). anyway bravo good video!
I thoroughly enjoyed watching you paint. Your use of watercolor, no matter what some 'experts' here have said.., is completely liberating. I've been aching to move away from the tightness I was taught in watercolor classes, and most watercolor vids here on Youtube show this tightness to the umpteenth degree. Thank you for showing how it can be done
I've always wanted a painting like that for my bedroom. (: I love the colours. I think I might do something like this for my school certificate art assessment.
What a waste of seven minutes of bandwidth. There is nothing at all special about the painting or the video. The video was not instructive, and the painting is quite pedestrian. I have seen much better efforts by young children. You know, there is more to art than splashing color on wet paper. Especially if you are doing abstract art, you want to be inventive.
@MultiRoom101 yes i agree. there is no creative thinking behind it. hahaha as you say just splashing and ragging a brush across the paper in one direction.
Always a pleasure to receive smart advice from great artiste. Thank you

This is incredibly beautiful. The colors are so beautiful, and how they blend together, thats why I love watercolor!
I use myself tempera and aquarelle crayons.
What aquarelle and paper brand do you use?
Keep on creating!
