u know, if u burn both ends of the toothpick....so one end burns to the rim of the glass, and the other burns to the spoon/fork junction, it still balances, and looks even more freaky!

its at the end of the tooth pick because the position the spoon and fork are at

I've been looking at maybe 3 or 4 pages, each describing how to do this, and it wasn't until I saw your video that I got it right. I didn't realize the match was jammed THROUGH the tines. Thanks a bunch for a clear video!!!

The point where the toothpick touches the glasses rim is the center of gravity. you can actually burn the part of the match on the inside of the glass and it will still balance. When my brother showed me this i started freking out!!! :D
