This song (and this performance with the love of the crowd) send shivers up my spine. The problem with Oasis is that they thought that by just saying they were as big as the Beatles and Stones made them so. But to be up there with the greatest British bands (which is to say the greatest bands), you actually have to be on top year in and year out for many years (recordings, tours, etc.). Too bad because Oasis could have been a real contender. Thus, Radiohead remain the survivors.

Granted, like most of my generation I am partial to sublime and nirvana because they went wayy too soon but this is the most impotant living band from the 90's in my opinion. They are the closest thing to a modern day beatles as you could get, simple chord progressions and lyrical genius...You have to appreciate how amazing oasis is.
