Well... I have been watching videos all over, and I must say... the high contrast you gave to your video makes it look, almost real. That's the reason why lots of people are writing comments like "nice graphics!". I'm still amazed on how it looks, and comparing to videos of the same game from other users, you will see the difference. Sick!

the graphics are great in this game, but i hate sports simulation games. they just are being made to realistic now. I like sports games like NFL blitz and NBA jam.

@ChargersrBA. Curiosity, realism is a bad thing? Isn't the purpose of next generation gaming consoles (and future consoles) to further increase realism. On account of the fact that my gaming genre preference is simulation sports, greater realism brings great joy. The fun factor of simulation sports games are 10x greater than arcade titles.

@strawberryshort99 well no, realism is a great thing, i just have this wierd feeling about all new games in geneeral not just sports simulation games. I guess i just got bored with most new games because most of them are first person shooters and sports games. I like games like blitz the league.

@ChargersrBA. That makes sense. You're a gamer that gravitates towards traditional arcade titles (e.g. Blitz The League, NBA Jam, etc.). My take on this is that since technology is moving towards realism, it would only be fitting for companies to develop games that better reflect the available technology--realistic simulation.

Would you care to extrapolate on your feeling on new games? It would actually be interesting to get an idea of why new generation games give you a weird feeling.

@strawberryshort99 I guess the reason I dont really like the newer games is because i grew up playing games like legend of zelda and dragon quest and games such as those. The style of games have really changed, like when i was little everyone played fantasy and adventure games, and now they all play fist person shooters and sports games. Im just more of an old school gamer i guess.

@ChargersrBA (part 1) Interesting because we're kind of in the same boat. I love the classic "Legend of Zelda," an absolutely brilliant game. I grew up on Nintendo and Atari. Super Mario Brothers and Duck Hunt, etc. Plus, you're absolutely correct when you say that the style of games have drastically changed. For one thing, from what I have read, newer games are usually beaten in about 8 to 10 hours (specifically referring to first person shooters, etc.).

@ChargersrBA (part 2) And truth be told, I was on hiatus from gaming since the days of Nintendo until I discovered "MLB the Show 09" and "Gran Turismo 5 Prologue" for the Playstation 3. The graphics were spectacular with realistic quality gameplay. I was immediately hooked by the realism. From the looks of things, I think the realism ride has only just begun. I am hoping that one day, the video game graphical imagery (and artificial intelligence) becomes indistinguishable from real life.

The generic looking players, arcade look and feel to this game just isn't appealing.

Have you noticed that all of the players have the same long slender generic torso.

Not all MLB players are the same size.

ok well this game looks pretty good i had the ps3 and traded it in for the xbox but im a big baseball fan and i had to down grade from mlb the show to to 2k i dont the deceison but i guess its not that bad i think 2k has some stuff to work on but im happy they put in a my player mode

Hmm. Twice in the vid, the runners rounding third for home held up like they were going to stop. That's not unforgivable, but it is an inaccuracy.
